well if u can find a "personal mentor" someone that has a genuine want to help you and show you what made him sucessful then yes more power to ya...

many sucessful ppl have had mentors...

im not talking about that im talking about the wanna be guys that spam your email and appeal to the masses.. these guys are crap... with monthy fees and bullshit software...

real mentors dont map it out for you and charge you for it. real mentors plant a seed and let you bloom on your own

You have to find your own way, what may work for one trader is gobbledygook for another. But guess what, all of the succesful strategies are roughly the same. We are just dealing with price, it either goes up, or down, that's it and with curencies, it rarely just sits, it may range, but it still moves.

this doesnt make any difference at all..what does is realising that unless u leave it alone sticking to yur plan using of descent risk reward ( a trade) so long as yur more right than wrong u will make money.. over a given trade sample ie 100 trades

u dont need to know anything about the market..to make money from it..if u have the right frame of mind

Dunno, I dont care, I am using Tom waves . But I read a lot about different systems, because I am trying to keep up speed with the market and banks are using techs. There are many angles one can use to look at price action. Moreover, right now HFT traders are creating something like 30%-40% of the market turnover, so in intraday trades, techs can became dominant.

But well, if you want to name specific system, I dont know any. I absolutely dont trust to any technical indicators. So there is no system I find usefull. Just fundamentals matter to me. And my conscious market mumbo jumbo.

U also said earlier that u cant steal anything. Actually i stole a lot of things from a lot of ppl i look up to in here. I believe that even by reading the nonsense from this thread, u can get better in the long run. U never know what phrase might click that answer u were so desperately looking for.

yep for sure brother, thats what i meant by plant that seed so that you can find your own way...
the variations of what you can do with the same knowlege are endless...

i have spent the past year finding my own way..

Technicals are totally useless, prediction is impossible end of story.


I have a range ./ vague trend setup and huge profits recently with very few losses, just got to find a cheat to exploit the market give up on trying to trade it like a professional.

its the human nature really.. people want this business for the money. they want the easy money. they dont want to put the effort in to make money. they follow their P/L balance, instead of the art of trading.

just like Barings Bank went down.. people knew it didnt make sense, but the minds were thinking of profits. because they were sucked into the mindset of easy money, they refused to believe math didnt add up.

sometimes trades are not made on justifications.. justifications are made on trades.

its a game.. and if you are good at it, its rewarding.
