Thank you for the invite... i've been watching PIE for quite some time..(about a year).I'm a big fan of you and your contributors ....methodology and posting practise.

Has anybody ever counted the max number of sequential up or down days on the D1 chart? A quick glance tells me that 4 in a row may be a rarity. We have had 3, or 4 and a bit if you ignore Tuesday's neutral spinning top.
Anyway, I cannot see any fundie boost for GBP coming over the horizon. The chancellor will announce an arrangement to pump £40 billion into the economy via guaranteed bank loans to small business. That news may mean the market opens long on Sunday night but, if so, it may only be a short term rise.
Analysis from AIB sums it up succintly:
My thinking is that price may bounce around from 1.5486 to 1.5395 before heading in the direction of 1.40 unless something significant happens, like good news from the Eurozone for example. Could be a good time for more scalping the bounces while shorting from around 1.5486 again.
Of course, it is far more likely to leave me with egg on my face

Meanwhile, reflecting the impact of a slowing global economy and weak domestic demand, the November manufacturing PMI is forecast to fall even further below the key 50 level. Other UK data worth watching over the week include the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) distributive trades survey for November, which is expected to be very weak, plus consumer confidence....
