Debts in France threaten top credit rating

France slumped to 13th place in a eurozone league table of financial security, adding to fears that the second largest economy in the 17-member currency club could lose its top-notch credit status within the next few months.

Analysts said the overall health of the French economy ranked only one place above Italy, and below several countries often mentioned as being near to bankruptcy, including Spain and Ireland.

I see potential shorting areas 1.3624, 1.3760 but I have my doubts on the strength of the bulls. Asian session doesn't promise much so I'll just laze around today. Liquidated all my position last night @ 1.3514, now flat.

The probability of seeing 1.3760 again are very slim. The endgame for Europe is near. The only thing I can see at this point that may drive price up there is a weaker USD.

+1, these are PA level I had on the chart. I seriously doubt 1.37 can be reached, much less 1.376. My short orders are @ 1.3624 range.

I believe you'll see 1.3400 before 1.3624.

That's how it's starting to look at this point. Let's see what the Asian session does. It would have been nice to add to my short positions but I guess I can't be too greedy.

Yeah, I started to had baaad feelings about this lack of retracement too... third consecutive day of falling? Even for EUR thats quite a lot, isn't it? But the Asian has not started yet...

It is falling and falling. I suspect it will go lower without any decent correction but If I initiate a short around here, where is the SL?

Yeah, I wonder If EUR should go some solid mainteance. It brakes seem to be malfunctioning... Please EUR please retrace at least to the 1.36

But, I would not completely give up hope on possible small retracement. Recently there are less USDs dumped during Asian, but still there is some possibility USD will get a bit weaker.

ADD: Sth strange is happening, either it is a low volume, or the gold going a bit up is first sign that some glimmer of hope is trying to get risk assets higher.

It broke the previous day's low.. I expected only a very small correction to get in but it escaped from me.

I know, but she moves like dead during Sydney / Tokyo sessions. Well, sth may happen during Asian, but right now I have no idea what is she doing...

Few times I got burned on such "breaks", first she makes lower low (or higher high) and then goes 100 pip the other way. But, that is the Euro.

And what weighs heavily, it is just that risk assets in general have no idea where to go . Without a risk-on day EUR aint gonna fly...

On my FXCM UK platform I see a high of 1.3540 and a low of 1.3490

EUR/JPY has a high of 1.0440 and a low of 1.0397 and USD/JPY has a high of 77.12 and a low of 76.97

The low means Yen is getting stronger.

Watch Europe open and Dow Futures. Do not assume anything no matter how bad it looks for Euro. Watch Price Action and new data and follow price of Oil and Gold.

Tomorrow is November 16, 2011 and we are 7 days from "D" day in the USA.

The EUR/USD might test 1.3400 and it might test 1.3600

I have NO SURE IDEA on it so I will just observe. Please ignore my comments and decide for yourself. These are just my thoughts. I am all in cash and very relaxed.

Have a good evening and keep those excellent charts and support and resistance levels out in the open.

I just got home and now I will spend a few hours doing my reading and research. Thursday is jobless claims and I want to see if it stays over 400,000 or under.

Times are interesting and patience is a virtue. Take care and trade safe.

Global Nuclear War!

Considering 20% of the time markets are in a long term trend, I wonder if long term trending for EURUSD happens every X amount of years. Seems like there are legs and life-cycles to markets, I know they exist in typical stocks, wondering about Forex.

AMEN. How easy it is to forget that the US or EZ are not in what we would call Mayberry. Yes EZ in deeper shiznit than US BUT........remember EZ 6 months minimum behind US and none of this matters cause if on NOV 23 the idiots in US government do not come up with a plausible plan going forward to meet US debt without overtaxing economy at expense of minimal growth, then all bets off we go back to at least 1.42.
