I prefer to call it DIE EURO DIE, but your version means more the less the same

ADD: we are a bit lower again, time to decide: bullish pennant, or multitop bearish reversal...

ADD2: sometimes I get the feeling, that some formations were named to serve as other failed patterns... like, bullish flag is a failed H&S, for example.

3:00pm is New York time. I didn't realize Peru was the same time zone as New York. Cool.

Malta is 9:12pm right now

Malta is in the same TZ as Poland, so I assume it is right after 9 PM. Or rather 21, as we use 24h times, no AM/PM .

SP500 is now at 1262. If it closes below 1265, it will be down on Monday. 1265 is strong resistance.
If SP500 goes down on Monday, it will drag Euro with it twice as hard.

It will be even stronger, when(if) it holds .
As I look on the chart right now, we managed to break 61.8 fib violently (didn't expect that... ouch) and pierced 76.4 Fib, but didn't manage to close above on my H4, and on H1 we just returned below after closing slightly above. Too bad we have just 30 min of this week left... and that I didn't consider 76.4 as the ultimate point Well, even if I closed underwater shorts today, It would still be a positive day. And I think if the daily closes low enough, there is no need to panic. Dislike holding too much over weekend, but, come on, someone on Monday must find USDX level as a bargain.

Yes it works with Dow as well but Dow only has 30 stocks in it so it can diverge more easily. That is why I prefer to track the SP500 (500 stocks)

From your chart I noticed something, continuations on bullish candles there seemed to be a long legged doji before another bullish candle. It seemed to happen 3 times and each time the price went up, just very interesting.

The 4H Looks very bullish - thats why all I need is break below 1.3735 - Pay attention of it - Reject beautifully again and again - Quite Scary - But Overall we need pay attention on Daily Trend and we must not fight the Daily Trend - See how the Daily progress on Monday

I going to jump in with both of my "newby" feet here. I've been following now for awhile and first want to thank PT for the great thread and everyone elses contributions. I've learned more here than anywhere else in the 2 years I've been trading. I've got a long way to go but at least I see +pips every now and then.

Here goes: What I see now is a retest of 1.3800 and then retrace to 1.3700 (38.2%). Whether it retraces or not I still think there is enough hopium for continuation to supply area at 1.3822 - 1.3842. I won't be surprise to see 1.3860 tested again and if so 1.3900 - 1.3920. That is where I will short.

It seems the bearish news pressure has let off somewhat since Monday and Tuesday which justifies, to me, my bullish trend continuation expectation.

Blah, blah, blah. Of course I could be all wet. Comments please.

Okay, I am scaling out a bit before the weekend. This sharp reversal is a bit scary. Closed the short that was +2pips only. One underwater remains to get lifted to glory on Monday... or doomed to hell. Hey, I would meet Tom in person . But I still think, an attempt to the downside should at least be made. 40 pips might be doable, maybe even more if some nasty news from EZ pop out. Good weekend everyone.

EDIT: 41 pips actually. She decided to make it a little higher.

Your stop loss for GBP/USD should be above 1.6130
What was your entry?

ADD: Also SP500 closed below the key resistance of 1265, so it will be making a correction downwards on Monday. That will strengthen USD and therefore pull down the EUR and GBP
