Is something gonna happen in USD/JPY...

After the release of Pending Home Sales data it started moving very strangely...


What's about to come in this pair.. a free fall or shoot up...

Got f**d up man...half of my account balance vanished within couple of minutes time... E/U holy shit . But my luck was that i closed my 2.00 lot trade in profit otherwise i wld not be here for posting comments...

Since my SL hit in E/U. THis bloody pair will definitely gonna fall overnight..

Now my remaining money lying in U/J Buy -2.00 volume at 75.70 level

no more bad surprises for EU , expect to see USDJPY climbing up to 100 pretty soon without intervention.

LittLe break from meeting. Forget about intervention, jpy weakening accross
the board. Jpy in general aint appreciating, its all about massive dollar sell
off.

Still on for 9pm NY time ? No way, aint gonna lose sleep over fantasy intervention dreams some people have.

Hi all, I'm not generally a USD/JPY trader, but I scooped up a couple lots at 75.82 today to see if we get an intervention spike.

Any USD/JPY gurus have insight on whether or not they think it'll happen? Historically, it'd probably be good for 200-300 pips. Nam nam NAM!

Hmm,

If your account cannot withstand 72.9x - my advice would be to hedge...

I see no real impetus for this pair to shoot up (short term).


Everyone appears to be savoring at the mouth for an intervention of some sort. Greed never ends well.

Uncle Sam aint gonna help as he loves these prices ... Very
good for exports ! Imo USD is bound to go much lower ...
end of an empire ? Look at some historical prices on USD pairs.
Complete meltdown of USD buying power. Truly a sad story.

Must say that USD/JPY held up quite well today when compared
to other USD related pairs. Mind you, if Japan doesnt take action
VERY soon, the USD/jpy sell off as wel.

I'm will try trade breakout now,trying picking the bottom would be quite expensive since there is no bottom of support now

Based on the Daily Chart,Today Trend Lowest Located @ 75.55 Breaking that level possible might shoot 74 level,Hold and reject will push another upside,but today is the last day of the month and we will see another new low if UJ cant make it to upside today

Been up all night and guess what ? No intervention ;-(
What i do see is the pairs inability to hold the 76 level.
In short:

-we have seen new ALL time lows, 3 days in a row
- Azumi complaining about strong Yen every day for months
- authorities vowing to take bold action almost every day

Now think for a moment .... what does all of the above imply ?
That the Boj is in control, that they are the ones pulling
the strings ? I dont think so, better yet, i am convinced that
they are pulling their hair, out of pure misery, not knowing what
to do to push the USD/jpy down.

Pushing this pair lower every day, despite continuous rough talk tells
you that markets are quite confident that it WILL head lower.

Since we all know that BOJ is not gonna intervene anywhere soon. So the best option (or can say the last option) left with Japanese authorities to weaken YEN is to support EURO. This will make EURO go strong and will automatically weakens YEN.....

Bahahaha, yesterday I though about shorting U/J but didn't go through with it, instead I short E/U and G/U and now I'm paying dearly for the mistake. The irony is killing me, next time I'll just do the exact opposite of what I want to do and I'll be a millionaire in no time.
