if current price's volume and action stays the same, im seeing begiinning of minor downtrend to demand.

volume now is saying either its a pullback to this uptrend, or the start of the downtrend. my sell is loaded and is in minor profit of ~5 pip range for now.

You can see a strong resistance forming at 1.39. Macd has crossed zero and It could break back but for what?

volume is what we need now. right now there is no signal, volume is still normal and even.

Mine too. And I hit the jackpot on oil. Oh, well, it would be a jackpot if I entered with 3 lots, with smaller leverage it is less amazing. But still I am quite happy. around 30 trades like that and I will be really happy

That is something I need to keep in mind, the testing of the lines that got broken, in the event you find yourself in a bad trade and can at least try to recoup some of the losses of the retrace.

Lol, while Barrosso was walking around reporters, not willing to give a speech, one couldnt stand it and started to shout: "How can the rest of the world take you seriously when you cant do anything about austerity!" Hehe.

Btw, probably the most informative speech (except of austrian prime minister which was in german and i didnt understand), was by finnish prime minister Jyrki Katainen:

"Hopefully we can agree on the issues which relates to the firewall like recapitalization scheme and how to make EMSF more efficient. Those are the 2 most important things because we have to make sure that the other countries and the financial don't suffer before any particular reason"

Watch out, retesting broken S/R is... Well, not mandatory. It happens often, but it may not happen. (It sounded as you wanted to hold loser until you get a pullback).

Hmm, our dear PM said, that he insists that EZ matters should be discussed by all EU countries... I can understand his point, but this is not EUR positive, that there will be even more politicians to quarrel

either you trade safe and be profit like that in long term, or be more risky and make easy fast money now.

jsut remember its zero-sum. either you win or lose. R/R of 4:1 and all that is bull-!@$!@#. its 1:1 you win or lose. you are right or wrong at the time of your trade.

if your target is 100 pips profit, you lose 100. you lose.

Doesn't always happen, especially in a strong trend. You need to be able to cut a loser and move on to the next trade.

Thanks. I prefer using mental stop... It sometimes gets buggy, but overall my trades with normal SL end worse than the ones without, that I babysit. Eventually i set sometimes SLs at BE, when I can't babysit any longer.

Well the idea is to enter your trade after the retrace and not before it.
That way if it is only a retrace you don't go underwater, and if it is a reversal, your loss is less.

Example...

1. Price breaks downwards through 1.39 support to 1.38 and PA says it is possible reversal downwards. The high is 1.3950

2. Wait for price to come back up to either 61.8% retrace of the entire move (1.3950 to 1.38)

3. Sell with TP of 1/2 position at 1.38 and leave other half to decide later. Put stop loss above 1.3950.

4. If you lose, you only lose 50 pips

5. If you had sold at 1.38 then loss would be 150 pips.

disagree. and agree . there are pros and cons to this. it minimizes risk exposure, and protects ur profit even more. that i agree, and is great MM. disagree because, have been rescuing trades ever since, and overall "i dont lose". i might lose 100 pips here and some there, but at the end of the day i dont lose. he is right about rescuing a trade. most dont do this because of the increased risk exposure, but in the end of the day, are you going to profit or lose? thats the point. right now im rescuing my euro short minor loss (still open) with a gold long. if i see im losing on one side, i can profit on the other. contradictory positions are not always negative. +200 on gold, good to cover up running loss for euro short. the more capital space i also give for the risk of loss on it. so if done properly, rescues are important to rescue our soldiers, snipers, and scouts alike on the battlefield. its like our aid team. stop loss is nothing of an aid team. it stops your wound from bleeding thats what it is, but not all the time. i dont think stops would take effect on the japan tsunami if u went long on the yen, or if u shorted before the snb intervention. there is always a chance to get ur profit back. but it doesnt come without a catch of course.

its amazing for those who can hold and just lose. its not my style at all heeh... i respect people who can do things i cant..

Do not quit smokiing before big trade related events. I've eaten all cookies in a house and now I wander to fridge every 10 minutes. Only thing I get from this event is 10 pounds and thats not in currency

Nice pb on the 1 hr, but, I'm not taking it, 1 hr till close, and the Euros are talking after the close.
