DislikedZURICH -(Dow Jones)- Swiss exporters face stagnating sales and shrinking profit margins heading into year-end as the strength of the Swiss franc and a slowing global economy start to take their toll, according to a survey released Tuesday.
Nearly three-quarters of Swiss small- and medium-sized companies expect their sales abroad to slow in the fourth quarter due to the appreciation of the franc against the euro, according to an export outlook indicator compiled by Credit Suisse (CS) and the business group Osec.
