it hit TP, i dunno about G/** thing. Im still not expert enough and it seem very scary to trade currency like that now >< , maybe i'll wait till it bounce back a bit and use ur methode for sell limit if it still gonna continue lower.

Here is a trade that I just got out of for a nice profit. The TDI was in the 2 o'clock position. The 5 minute chart had pulled back with the MACD confirming. Charts will be in the next post

Closed all positions before news relases.

NZD USD entry based on the 2 o'clock tdi and 5 minute pullback

im in a/u short, enter - 0.9693 s/l - 0.9723 till news. 38pip profit so far.


ps. usdcad long still open till news. +68pips so far.

I actually traded both the nzd usd and nzd jpy since the setup was the
same on both pair. Total pip count with both trades considering I took
several positions in each pair was 81 pips

How many is a few pips? I use 2 pips, but have been caught in stop hunts. Any number safer for 1H, 4h time frames. I am not yet comfortable walking away from the computer with a pending entry order esp 1H

Eur Usd looks like to good potential trade setup. The TDI has passed through the rsi at the 4 o'clock position. Wait for a pullback on the 5 minute chart and pull the trigger as long as the TSI is still in the 4 o'clock position

Whatever your back testing has shown you that works for you, gives you the edge you know will work, that is the number of pips written into your trading plan - I cannot do that for you; what works for me may not work for you.

A few pages back there was some excellent discussion on money management and POSITION SIZING - if you can't find it, sing out and I will point it out.

If you are going to walk away from the computer, obviously you will need an EA that takes over trade management for you, automatically set the stop loss, trailing stop, take profit maybe.

Someone recently posted some of those also, and probably better ones over in the Platform Tech section for sure!

Then you will feel comfortable leaving the trade to be; if still uncomfortable, then your POSITION SIZE may be too large. Do you use fixed stops and always trade the same amount? You need to look at changing your trade size each time, sure worked wonders for me!

For instance, say account is $10,000, risk is 2%, to find out if the trade will work, $200, walk away, comfortable, no emotion, no need to watch it go up and down, either works or it doesn't, too easy.
