The daily chart shows a spinning top. Indecision.
The green 22 sma is sitting around 1.5703 or so.
We need a candle close above there to signify a temporary short term bottom has been formed.
Large wicks on the tops of the previous 3 or 4 candles show strong selling pressure there.
The 5 sma close has crossed over the 5 sma open to the upside, but the price is still trading inside the river.
The blue colored 14 sma is providing short term resistance.
Friday's candle closed on top of the yellow 5 sma close. (My broker closes at 4 p.m. est so...

Let me know what do you think.Possible the most simple and quite Idiot chart..
First,I am look the monthly chart For the bigger and longterm trend,The Monthly looks bearish for me even we've break the long downtrend and Secondly I am see that there is a huge demand on GU at level @ 1529 above,Break that level possible might turn GU Bearish In longer term
Secondly,Personaly am Bullish on USD the reason is We've Break the long downtrend here,then We Close above Double Lows On Monthly chart (Orange thick Mark).We also Break the Inside range bar around 76.74 ( Orange Thin Mark) and Lastly We've close above 8 month previous low's which Indicates further bullish,regarding how high we can go.Honestly I Dont know as I dont know the future..But am looking level 78.23 might be breaking soon
@ Daily,I'm remain flat but I am will decided to enter the position tomorrow based on which sides break first,break the green lines am will long as for me this is continues bulls and break the red lines am will short as for me this is fail bullish
Consclusion :I really dont know where GU will be heading later or even In Future.For Longterm View we've break the long downtrend But In Other Side I'm see that the new trend of USD strenght is Coming

why not add some chart again , usdx > bull but not not in full controll for timebeing /immediate term & likely turmoil a lot before clear to up for bear trap as far as it go UP.H1 tf close exactly the most cretical level at top . 200sma weekly in place also . the extension top may subject to change shape any , unlike the channel it shows now . so very likely trades next open gu , eu correction to up.not bad like for gu for a good reason .

If Gu manage to close a 4h or a daily candle under 5550/30 or better 5300, Gu will more likely fall to 1.50. If not, if prce manage to break 5730, it could spike to 5810, then fall back or continue to 1.60 area, then correct again around 1.57.

Here is my weekly view on cable. I am already long on cable on a trade that I took on the 22nd September, but I am not sure if this swing trade is going to work as I see a better area for a swing trade that I have marked off on the chart that has some nice trendline confluences. With swing trades, sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to get them going, but I have already scaled out of this trade and put the SL to BE+ based on the hourly/daily timeframes.
Now, the first sign of price turning is when it makes a higher low and this is relevant on ALL timeframes, but since GU could not make a higher high, it is imperative that the demand area around 1.42 holds for the bulls, otherwise a lower low will have been printed which will be very bearish for GU.
From a fundamental perspective, the BoE have been making noises about additional QE to stimulate the economy and the market has already priced some of this in. I don't think they will initiate further QE, unless we see negative GDP figures, so keep an eye on UK GDP. There is also talk of SNB buying UK bonds, but this will have a greater effect on GBPCHF. Other GBP pairs show more bullishness than this pair.
For this pair, who has been printing more money, the US or UK? The US of course and therefore I am long-term bullish on GU although I do see potential further downside on this pair to my preferred demand where I think we will see bullish action and hopefully another attack on 1.67+ and higher. If we break 1.42, the bulls are fooked and Nav knows this too.
The thing is, as traders, we need to be adaptable. We should not marry to a single view, because the market evolves. Right now, the bears are in control and 1.5 is still on the cards and it is a very significant number on GU, if it can break the recent lows of 1.532x, but 1.5 is the middle of the all-time high of just above ~2.0 and the all-time low of ~1.0. It is the centre of the universe

Keeping broken trendlines on a chart is not a bad thing as more often than not, you get a re-test of the broken trendline as what had occurred on GU if you look at my chart. You see the trendline from the higher low had a lovely short re-test, which I missed and that trendline can be removed from my charts now. I am keeping it on there as a reminder to myself that this is the type of confluence that I look for as part of my trading style.
I am now expecting a nice retest of the bearish trendline that was broken which I circled and where I think we will see bullish action.
