my strategy doesn't include buy/sell limits as i need to be in front of monitor and see PA to pick the trade.
anyway i agree @flatfish: not clearly a short here although it is near previous highs. imo this thing is going into 57's

Once you have confidence in your ability and you spot a great setup on your charts, buy/sell limit orders are a great way to ensure you get the trade without having to be at your desk. All takes time BB and it is all about confidence... trading is a game of confidence!
maybe one day will include again (...) limit orders in my strategy!
after this, better i start thinking seriously about it! also with a 0,2 -0,3 lots i could be +130pips......

i worked about 1year to define my strategy. i found my 'perfect' way to pick entries with safe stoploss and so good R/R.
this is what i call '1st step'.
next one which im working is to define better good targets once into a position. looks like easy but it is not at all. once in a trade every one would like to see the more profits possible. but when it is + 70/90/110 pips it is hard to hold coz price can reverse and eat all profits.
it is all about main study maybe.
also to know much better a pair helps.
yesterday i closed my long on gbp aud @5900. i thought it to go @6000 but i closed at target coz it was also possible a move again to 5800.
today i didnt pick this long on GU.
some can say 'you got +100 pips and more other etc...'
i say 'i left on the table 250 "easy" pips!'
well, need to keep working on this thing!

asian session are every time more tradable than UK. surely better than NY.
start of the year will get a travel to some gmt +4 or +6 area.

just because you miss one fish doesn't mean your a bad fisherman. I too am so annoyed at myself that I didn't reverse at 1.57 as I would have shorted it there if I had been looking to take a trade- buts that trading.
