EUR/CHF

I think you are right. I do not think they will spend a cent to push this pair up to 1.25 but people will be scared since they did put it from 1.10 to 1.20 and people will look for buy EUR/CHF on dip instead of sell it. Typically, i do not think many people will sell this pair ath this moment, the only reason to let this pair down by now is either people close their long EUR/CHF position to take profit, or due to the drop of EU more than the increase of UC.
On the other hand, even though SNB will not push it to 1.25, i still believe it will protect it above 1.20 otherwise people will realize they are powerless to keep cheap CHF and CHF will be stronger again.

Well they have to hold those 1.20 like they told (until the tell something different). But that does not mean they can let it drop for a short while down to 1.17 or even 1.15 (This will be still in the "forced" uptrend).

Remember: They are the SNB - they don't care about "investing" in some 100Billion $ and € - they can generate as much CHF as they want. Finaly they will even make money with it when the price is higher and they start (very) slowly buying back the CHF - time is working for them...

Yeah well now, they won't even need to protect it above 1.20. The market will protect it for them. All they have to do is leak some rumors and then "no comment". Those sneaky swisses!!

Reminder:
first rumor was peg around 1.10 and SNB said 1.20
now rumor is 1.25 ...

On the daily we can clearly see that price has been tested several time.
In other words supply has dried out (nobody is selling except a few ...).

Price is touching the lower long term channel line, so once in it, the moves can be swift without mercy for the shorty's.
The lack of supply with increased demand results in higher prices.
On thing I have learned over the years is, never ever play against a Central Bank regardless of whatever anybody else is speculating or saying.
If somebody still feels like playing with fire you may switch to EUR/JPY, much better to get burned.

ok, so i just woke up this morning to this, two different brokers with two different results on price somebody tell me how on earth such a huge discrepancy is possible on a 4hr chart

Holy Cow!!! I've double-checked my charts - no PA of this nature and I am using FxPro. But then went to check NetDania Chartstation and they show this scary Account Annihilator there too! Weird..
Anyhow, if someone got stopped-out by this I suggest taking it to the brokers and asking: WTF?

Well, my previous sell idea didn't pay off but the "maybe they'll go up again" did which I placed after the 1.25000 PEG rumor surfaced.

Let's assume the SNB will continue the move towards a peg at 1.25000.
The last two moves up, including the initial big spike, totaled roughly 1500 each.
Sure, you could try to get all of that but you'd have to be damn lucky so, how does banking 800-900 on the next couple of moves up sound?

Take a look at a 1 minute TF chart on the last move up. You'll see about a 300 pip move up that took around 1 hour and 40 minutes, or 100 one minute candles. Of course there were also some down candles thrown in there that probably cleared out a lot of SL so...
We need to place a buy stop in order to take advantage of the huge spike, but it needs to be above the initial 300 point upswing with a TP far below the 1500 pip total, or below the 1.24000 zone.
This would also require NO SL that would be hunted down and take us out of the trade before banking the 900.
Likewise, you could do the same calculations for the CHF/JPY as they will move in concert with the EUR/CHF pair.
IIMHO, the GBP and USD crosses seem to have a larger margin for error with regards to where one would place a buy stop once the movement begins so, be careful with those.

Anyway. Hopefully this help ally any fears and will allow us to bank the largest portion of the next up move, OR TWO.
IF the target PEG is 1.25000, you might as well do the same calculations in anticipation for that move too. Can't hurt.
Just be careful and realize that I take no responsibility for my math and certainly not yours.
The targets on my chart may need to be adjusted, depending on where the EUR/CHF pair is ranging. Which means you will also need to periodically take a peak or, better yet, create an alert around where you anticipate a move up will start.
OH, there were 23 hours between the last two interventions. So place your bets and be prepared to make some doe with no DOHS along the way.

Any idea what may happen to the euro after the FOMC meeting this evening. ?, could we possibly have another intervention, if they introduce another QE.

I think that until the end of week will be very important two levels: 1.2320 and 1.2350, which seems to be very strong resistances. I bought at levels 1.2060 at monday after market open and sold at 1.2160, so i made very nice profit, because i use my full leverage (1:100)

Today i would be carefull with buying, because when you check what is happening at EUR/USD, it could be very risky. I would advice to sell at tops with SL upper resistances.

I expect no intervention soon, USD is strong so keeping the swissie weak.
More intervention means inflation for the SNB.

If there will be an intervention, it wont be like it was on the 6th of september!

Am expecting a 1.21200 anytime soon.
