No QE3 is good news for USD

and now is time to action ECB with BOJ

got stopped out, jumped back in (of course the spread was HUUUUUGE), but very much in the positive. For you pros -- Are we at the bottom with the Yen? I know the technical perspective is cannot say yet (downtrend intact, etc), but fundamentally, now with FED past us and all the problems in Japan ... any thoughts? Some rumor/speculation that intervention coming by end of month (8 more days) so that Japanese exporters can book nicer profits.

maybe with no QE3, a Japanese intervention will now properly work, whereas before US dollar was too scary. ???? I don't think this FED move today alone will flip the trend, but FED in addition to BOJ move .... now that could.

I do not mean the intervention , only sell dollar by BOJ to European banks

remains a strange pair this UJ but somehow I like it.
Normally one would suspect it corrects heavily right now but looking at EJ, the USD news and BOJ only wanting to act on surprise I would say go for it, now is your chance

Imo, Usd/Jpy will not be able to hold on to todays gains for long if Boj doesn't step in soon. Most other Jpy related pairs rapidly approaching all time lows.

Jpy safe haven attraction is still very much alive and kicking. Afraid that Usd will not be able to resist Jpy call for long without bold Japanese action. Usd is gaining between 1.0 and 2.3% towards other pairs and just a mere 0.25% versus the Jpy. To me a sign that current 'recovery' towards the Jpy is still very fragile. It won't take much to tip this boat.

Just my 2 cents.

It wasn't me who banned that guy......he's obviously upsetting a lot of traders with his nonsense. All we asked for was some charts or other analysis that shows how he gets these numbers.....otherwise, they are worthless.....then to cap it of he wants to call us stupid traders.......and he's the one saying stop losses aren't necessary......lol......there's one born every minute!!

If you look around ForexFactory though, you will see many who make calls after the moves have finished....eg...."I scored 150 pips on that move" .....lol....anyone can say that *after* the move has finished, and it means nothing. Posting charts after the move has finished and saying...... "I knew this was going to happen".....and other crap. It's all worthless and it shows who is a trader and who is full of it.

It's really simple.....post the chart and/or fundy analysis, entry price, stop loss, target price etc etc *before* the trade, or at least soon after it is taken, then we can all see what's going on. Doesn't matter if you get stopped out because you were wrong, or because 'shit happens'....making mistakes is one of the best ways to learn.

I have lots of respect for honest traders who behave as above.....and I have nothing but contempt for the other wannabe's

I can see no justification for that.No other reaction elsewhere, other than my first post and trade on this pair in quite awhile..lol Knocked me out + 10ish... This Is usally when I revenge trade that SOB!...

Jpy strenghthening across the board. Seems like market either doesn't expect intervention or is confident that an upmove will be countered rapidly (as did the previous ones).

As I said strange pair this UJ, takes time to get accustomed with it but hell, a plus is a plus

propably they wait if the pair reacts to fed decision if not they have to do something right?

Yeah....this bottom dwelling pair has been here for about 9 weeks now. Until it decides whether this the bottom or not......more of the same shit PA can be expected. Once the trend turns, I hope to see a nice steady climb all the way to 100 or more
