Well what can I say??
Only 7 disconnections in 4 hours this afternoon andf ALL when the price was moving fast...
I keep on monitoring the situation coz really I'd like to be back trading at GOMARKETS but this stuff MUST change... a client of mine has still an account there but I'm afraid to pull the trigger...

I'm using 12 H charts right now so not really sure when data stops on a Friday but my Candle Clock says there is 1 hour left to go, but I do know I sometimes watch the first data on a Monday and that is 8 AM AEST, or 6 PM New York (EDT) which seems to be an hour late.

I'm sure that the 5 equal daily candles were meant to 5 PM New York Sunday to 5 PM New York Friday; perhaps GO Markets can explain later in the week, got me curious now too

The reason for the start time is to give the 5 bars only for the week. Many of you will remember two occasions in the past where we asked our clients if they wanted us to change it and the answer was an overwhelming "no", so it has stayed the same.

Hi Chris

For your information, I personally used and saw the other Australia MT4 platform does display 5 full daily bars (candles) per week comparing to GO but they have one extract H1 candle on Friday closing. It does make a different to traders whether to take trades on next Monday opening hour. Hope this is clear.

If we are in a trade (w/profit and stop loss entered) and the GM server goes down - will our profit and stop losses be honoured?

i call in to safe guard my capital , but i agree with you

its an interesting clause in the product disclosure
perhaps all br*kers have such a clause; often wondered whether a court of law would deem such a clause fair and reasonable, and actually rule the br*ker must take responsibility

there is a popular misconception that just because you sign a contract, you are bound by it, not true if the terms & conditions are deemed unreasonable by a court of law

that said if trading big lot sizes, would you be trading with Go!

just interesting, i'm happy with Go to date
