Hi again,

Just looked at your chart some more. Would be nice to see what tells a downward fork would have given since the current price action had been down.

My 2 cents.

You are right. I have drawn downward pitchfork too, it has better frequency. My green PF doesn`t have at all.
Do you think that something has changed in the markets during August?
I started with pitchforks in May this year and since I started to read your posts and website I have drawn hundreds of them. I tried to draw my own before seeing your weekend charts to make comparison.
Everything worked quite well for me untill I have gone for holiday in August. I think now there`s much less oportunities to draw pitchforks which are well tuned to the markets. Do you have the same impression?
Maybe markets are in cyclic changes.

Hello again,

I keep weekly and also daily charts of 18 pairs.
There`s not so much to do especially with weekly charts.

I have seen something interesting on weekly EG.
Maybe oportunity for long?

I have heard it said that trading during this Summer has not been boring...unlike others. Something has changed there for sure. Drawing pitchforks though still seems to be fine for me...maybe you can use a different time-frame to catch a better frequency with price.

Hope your fork comparison exercise using the setups is helping you to see the market better by sharpening your eye to find the right fork: the one you think might work "best".

Hey guys, how is it going?

I see you mentioned EJ, here's a quick EJ H4 chart. We are below MP and below 106.50, which is an important price level from the past. Price action was rejected at that level.

All this means we are going lower. 104.50 initially is a good target on the downside.

Going fine...been through some busy/hectic months. Hope I have come to the end of the numerous distractions as I want to be able to focus on my trading again.

Hello Traders,

Hope you had a good week. Did not trade as much as I would have liked. Will be in the "ring" again this week...GW.

Reading about stops...this was a topic of discussion sometime ago, where traders had said that you should always trade with stops. Here is an interesting quote from Agustin Silvani...

"Ideally, you should aim not to leave any fixed stops in the market. Although professional money managers often trade with stops, they leave the orders on their computers instead of with their brokers (making them invisible), and more often than not trade with no stops at all." Other professional traders may have different approaches...that is expected. The one shared here is also valid in the industry...an FYI for some perhaps.

I guess it is not just about doing the same things as the "big boys" but finding a way to have access to similar tools and services so that traders get similar results.

On another note, the weekly wrap-ups will be posted by noon EST today.
