Could you add an alarm in you candle vol indi for climax candles?

Here is what a real bull flag looks like ... and while it does not mean that higher prices are certain, it gives me a bull bias. I see a lot of Sonikers post what they call bull flags and bear flags, and rarely do any of them represent what technicians mean by a flag formation.

Flags should have trendlines that slope in the opposite direction of the the most recent thrust-like move. In this case, price thrusted or "impulsed" off its 77.1x lows on 9/2. Since that rally topped, price has gone down, i.e. opposite the thrust.

Furthermore, for a formation to be a flag, that counter trend pullback should be contained by trendlines that are either parallel to one another or converge, i.e. point toward one another. If the trendlines diverge, or widen, then you may still be looking at a correction and not a reversal, but it is not a flag.

Flags often have break outs that fail, so rather than trade the BO from this flag, should it come, I would switch to an M15 and await the breakout (High) and then a pullback into the dragon (Higher Low) and then wait for a proper SonicR entry on a new high (Higher High).

Flag breakout and pullback. Top chart shows H1, bottom chart shows M15 where I would await further PA to set up a SonicR, though it is possible that the blue trendline becomes a long entry.

ddaytrader have you ever traded smaller charts in relation to larger TF's? Everything you have said is relative as you know. I find this to be a very biased comment much like your comments about BB only look at big charts. No BB look at everything down to the 1M chart. If ever traded the smaller TF like the 5M you can see the price action in relationship to the 15M and 1H and the 4HR. By any definition of trading CT within a WA analysis you can trade a FIB off of resistance. CT trading must be relational to upper charts you are looking at and a chart below you. Generally in a 3X or 4X. It might not be CT and might be a reversal as I have seen that many times.

And I will remind you that though Sonic talks of the "Big Boys" he is in fact analyzing volume and Volume Spread Analysis. Unlike others, Sonic is not writing fictional stories about the Big Boys and like a novelist creating thoughts and emotions and actions for the Big Boys. All Sonic means by "Big Boys" is high volume activity. He is a trader, not a story teller.

Sonic prefers to trade after the London open.

I have traded SonicR for three years and in my experience, the time of day means very little so long as you are trading the best waves. Of course, high volume is always preferable to low volume, as technical analysis works best, and some would say only works at all, when there is sufficient liquidity to keep the market floating.

I have traded Tokyo and US with as much success as anyone here has had trading London only.

Price really doesn't care what time it is.

And another question of a newby.

I've noticed today that i.e. EU didn't give a chance to open according to the system. But... there was a chance to do re-enter. Please have a look at the graph. Is it OK to re-enter the trend with short according to the re-enter rules? I mean CCI turns red and QQE is below the mediane. Levels & time are marked.

That was not the point of my question or ever discussed. Also I explained WHy I posted 20 second chart not a 10 of which you obviously ignored and continue to. I question your point of not CT on a 5 Minute. When any basis of WA of FIB moves off resistance with a 5 minutes being the lower relational TF to see wave action of the 15M TF.

how does sonic do volume analyiss and volume spread analysis? what benefits does it give to be able to understand volume?

This thread started during the financial crisis when currency pairs were moving 300-600 pips per day. Under those circumstances, we used the M5 as the M5 range was large enough to trade. Some have mistakenly extrapolated the use of the M5 under extreme conditions to using under more mundane conditions.

I do not know what your motives are for coming here and trying to attack me or make a joke out of me, but I have over one thousand posts to this thread, and I would not trade my body of posts for anyones. I stand by my work here. I know from personal correspondence that I have directly helped at least eight Sonikers learn to apply SonicR to make consistent profits from it. I have tried to help many others who have failed because they have tried to take this good system and make it perfect, ruining it in the process. I am not a commericial, and I have never sought a dime from anyone for my help. I have only been critical of those things dragged into this thread that would derail a new Soniker's training and trading. If you are trying to use your participation here to launch a commericial following, you should take it to another thread. We've had too many of them pass through here already.

If you are here to learn SonicR and help others learn it, then let us stick to the program and leave your own personal developments out as I have resolved to do myself. You are either here to help others or you are here to pad you ego or your pocketbook by preying on others. If you are a helper, then let's get on with it. If you are a bird of prey, fly off and seek your supper elsewhere.

I do not use volume and VSA in my own decision making. You should address your questions to Sonic himself or those who use it as Sonic himself uses it.

As ddaytrader pointed out, Sonicdeejay recommends trading the London session. Just as Sonicdeejay recommends trading the M15.

The fact that ddaytrader can successfully trade before/after the London session, or even if he were trading successfully the M5, does not change Sonicdeejay's good advice to trade the London session/M15.

Frankly, I think while you may have seen some big moves begin before LO, all-in-all, there are more head fakes than real moves. Many a time very good looking setups appear in the asian session, only to have PA go flat, or even have PA reversed once the London session begins. So, if you want to try and keep your risk down, Sonicdeejay's advice is good to follow.....

......at least, until you feel you know longer need heed his advice......

......at which point you may later come to realize how sound his advice really is!

I usually use a zig setting of 8, 10, and 12, and each will find waves of different sizes. I prefer to analyze the swings myself using S/R, but as I said in the post above, I did find it somewhat helpful when I was first training my eyes to see price action in terms of swings or waves. It is as accurate as any ondicator can be, which is to say it varies, and I would not trade based only on the zig zag and I would not skip a trade based only on the zig zag.

I woulod suggest that you try to draw the waves yourself, like playing "connect the dots" and then after you have drawn what you think the right waves are, then put the zig zag on. Check it with a setting of 8 then 10 then 12 and see how your swings match up to what the indi finds.

The answer is that it is beyond the purview of this thread.

If you wish to explore counter trend trades using fibs on a 5 minute chart, then start a thread. Surely you can see that in a thread that trades the M15 using H1 and higher TF for S/R is not the place to post microTF charts and trades.

Pad my pocket or ego? LOL I am simply learning from others as we all do all throughout our lives. I don't make anything or seek others for anything. I was ADDING by answering S/R questions and you jumped in like you had a clue of the total discussion by me with others. S/R is part of this thread in relation to price. So is PA. I have never negated the 15M TF as primary part. I simply used other TF to show S/R so it is clear to see PA. My point is not to piss you off. I undertand the point of keeping the thread on point. Showing other TF does not negate that to help explain S/R and trades within the 15TF.
