seems like CHF using the spike up tactics to scare people off the 2nd time ,1st faking EU peg then faking spike to cause fear among traders = lame .

Early Europe, quite some financial instituitions were going down - till 5% Red lights were on. The selling started.

With so much SNB disturbances, I dropped this pair and shorted the Dow and targeted the minus -50% weekly fib.
Got it right to the pip.

If you observe gold - chf pair, you will see why Usd-chf is not moving much. Normally, during this crisis USD-CHF should plunge when you have a 500 pip drop in the Dow and Gold decends against CHF. Instead, Gold went up against the CHF. Investors are moving to Gold as safe haven and not entirely CHF - Hilderbrand must have bought USD knowing Euro is too dangerous - Buying USD cushion the drop of Eur-CHF
As the bears had been waiting just for a negative EU and US bad data released, as said in previous post, the bear market resumed.
Next target after a pullback, minus -61.8% and if that breaks , 10'500
Between 9'000 to 10'000, if we are there, US will try next QE to push the stock market back up

Yeh, and a lot of folks running to the YEN too. USD/JPY touched 76.445 a few minutes ago.
Intervention would be pointless right now.

Back from holiday and wow, beautiful retracement! Yet waiting for 0.65 to buy another lot. Or if not, at 0.85 collecting the coins from current longs.

I still plan, by the end of the year we take 2 dollars with 1 chf I mean, it will just not surprize me, so its applyed to my strategy.

I don't think that the USD will strengthen, when looking to the gold prices. As many say it is now an emotions market, and I believe that many do not want to accept what is happening with the short selling of all equities.

On Bloomberg they mention that Hedge funds are focussing on shorten their stocks. i.e. End is not in view yet.

Besides, based on negative correlation between USD/CHF and Gold (as following), since Gold is moving north sharply, (in theory) USD/CHF will go south.

Unemployment news after one hour, this will help push usd/chf to 0.7960 and up if good news, if bad news will go down again to 0.7912.

i am a bit uncomfortable to see this pair juggling upside,lessening my floating short profit on EurChf. i guess markets are not digesting swissie data which is much better than expected and choose to play techs. well it's not too late to see reversal pattern. shorting @1.00

Probably a bad idea to go short now, since that would be the counter trend movement, Fundamentally keep in mind the CHF is now "Temporarily Pegged" to the EURO, whatever EURO Weakens the CHF benefits the Weakness too...
UBS confirmation of a CHF Books Adjustment confirms that the CHF's been OVERVALUED, so do watch out for more CHF weakening in the coming week...

Technically, Look at the Daily Chart and draw up some vital MA curves, you will see that CHF failed to break below one of the MAs, MA5 i believe in my chart... while in an uptrend last week and today's acceleration upwards is a sign USDCHF BOUNCING off this MA further up, looking for the Pivotal MAs in the Daily Chart the MA144 and MA169, Those are to be watched now...

On the same point, my Longs on USDCHF at 0.8 finally took profit at 0.8150 today Woot Woot, took a god damn month though... and a hefty beating of -1000 pips before it came back up... finally someone realises that the CHF is looking really ridiculously expensive... Shouldnt be a surprise for readers of this thread since i did posted a while back that 0.8 was the monthly pivotal watch point and to beware of possible overshoot below 0.8 before a bounce back up... Yawn i LOVE being right... sorry didnt keep you guys updated but i was off in France for the last 4 weeks
