Hope you all are having a good day. Been trading EU..not too in sync seems like (concerned about an ill family member), but still plugging away. Down about 10 pips for the day overall...made some lost some. Will keep at it .

P.S. Closed my trade yesterday in profit. Price had a hard time getting past the SH but it did. Got out before the news.

Just closed all EU trades after actively managing the risk as the price did its thing. Came out ahead by about 20 pips*...no stops...no loss to the account. It can be done! Unfortunately, too many charts to copy and post, but mention of this method was made in an earlier post: Post 2020.

This approach to actively managing risk may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is another method (other than putting on a stop and standing by watching as the market tries to go after it)....worth taking a look at...mho. Personal preference: maintain control...remain in the driver's seat so to speak.

P.S. Stops have their place with very selective usage based on a trader's trading schedule, long-term strategy and time constraints...my humble 2 cents.

*Daily Statement showed 15 pips.

Well I was able to place some trades today, but got into some entanglements on Nzd-Usd. Managed to actively manage the risk and come out ahead...didn't lose any $$$. Made a few on EurUsd...late entries. Should have been a couple of hundred pips for the day, but I am grateful that I lost nothing, but actually made some.

Still not quite in the flow but will keep on.

Well traders,

I was able to get a trade and signal sent today on Aud-Usd. The email with the trade details and chart are usually sent just after I click to open the trade. The signal chart is attached. Signal gave about a 15 pip profit as the bullish trend continued, so price did not make it to the suggested target. More comments on the trade are available on the blog.

Will keep at it. Things are finally beginning to fall into place...schedule wise.

As Tim Morge teaches I want to see opens/closes of the next bars above the median line.

The move upward on EurJpy did not hold. Lots going on later today: Bernanke and Obama to speak.
