I did get 31 pips out of the trade... just glad it was a comparable pair. LOL

edit: 21 pips fat fingered.

Most such patterns break out thru the horizontal. In this case, down. However, the sideways movement could continue, enlarging the pattern.

......And, if GU starts to drop, it is highly likely so will EU.

Strictly Trendline and S/R's levels and the bull and bear in between. Add that with watching wave action counting of PA on 3 MACD's... good guess. lol

yep... weak up move that failed to make a part 6 and bam.... goes down. Middle of week... so Asian session usually has much more life if you are going to trade it.

This A/U could have gone either way.
Only my earlier chart post reply with the A/U H1 gave a better indication of trend lines for Long.

This second N/U Short was more like a Revenge Scout trade as price above Dragon.
Coz your earlier first N/U Short was a nice SonicR Classic trade below Dragon.

This second trade is classify as Revenge trade as after the first trade hit the initial SL of -18pips, you went straight back in for a Short BUT the Price Momentum of N/U was fast up after the red news.
As this was a Scout and price climbing up fast, this made it even more difficult for anyone to determine the SL.

If you believe N/U was still a Short after your 1st trade, you could wait for price momentum to slow down after the climb up before you re-enter again.
May prefer a better price to re-enter if price went back down to your 1st Short entry price of 0.8229.
This would then prove better that it should have been a Short at 0.8229, and then this will make it easier for you to determine SL by using the new swing high after the news run up in price.

This would have save you one extra bullet.

Foxybunny, I couldn't help but notice that your "band" of moving average lines does not match one based on the 34 ema. In places where price should be inside the Dragon, your chart shows price completely outside your band. What did you construct your "band" with?

I count different than him as he starts at a different time than I do. If a trend ends the last high at the end of the trend is the beginning part. Which I base my continuous wave counting on the MACD on multiples TF with PA as new parts not simply PA which is the difference.
