i was expectin near end of week this level as said yesterday.
today i left markets @6350 with a small long running.

came back targeted and price 70 pips above my target. lolz
sincerely... ok good CPI today but... what da hell moving GBP so high?

i cut the short already..I do believe the direction is up..it appears to me that gbpflx chart on the monthly has broken the resistance, so if it can close at these levels, well actually a bit higher it probably go lot stronger

i sold cause its a range and cant tell if it will break out..but my profit is hedged and with time im pretty sure this mofo will see 1.63 again..then i will exit the short..as the long i think is the real direction..

4 dailly bull candles..id think a retrace at least is on

if it breaksout i will wait for a pullback..and get out of te short..if it ranges, then im getting the retrace as well..this is probably a stupid move on my part..ahh but what the hell..lol

Still in and placed a sell entry @ 1.6480 in case my stop is collected which they often do

about the 4d1 bull candles i think different: there is a strong power going on and deeply technical with actually no 'forgotten pivot'... time will tell if we see 1.64 . (in the past GU gave also 9-10 daily up)
where do you get that GBPFLX chart?!?!

Wow! Right on target again!

My analysis for tommorow (17th Aug):
It seems like cable has a little bit of gas left to go up again. If price makes a clear break @6470-80, we can expect GBPUSD to move up to 6520 AND may even shoot up to 6620-6720 if not tommorow maybe within 1-2 days.

However, wait for the retracement to be done first. I expect to see retracement down to at least 6400-20 before NY open.

CAUTION:
6720 is a BIG resistance. Price was rejected in July-Dec 2009 and May 2011 at this level. Price will make a big and sudden move at this level. Better stay out and wait for a clear breakout from this level.

Reasons:

 

  1. Stoch(10,3,3) on daily chart shows that price has not reached its ceiling yet.
  2. Stoch(10,3,3) on daily USD index chart shows that price is continuing to move down (GU goes up)

From what I read, Im surprised that a lot of ppl played short on GU. I hope nobody got hurt too bad. Just be careful, it might still go up (or not).
