Stop going the old way..

As I look @ the 4 entries of urs..you avg 1.426x and now we are 1.446x
Your are in under water about - 200 pips with 4 positions..

Do not add a position blindly..(Sonic Classic was screaming Long since 1.431 and you will be up 160 pips if u follow the rules) .and you need sound money management..
If you can't obey that, trading isn't for u...

refer to your questions:
1. the one in blue box was taken. the longs were the one at 23:45 08/AUG and 22:00 10/AUG. sorry I am not using my own laptop, so cannot get a pictures. the M15 waves for those long were not clear, so I call it "indecisive" to me

2. yes, the S/R bases on daily H4, and H1 chart, then I seek for good setup in M15 around those area, I do this with following reasons:
a. I work busy job, I have not much time for the chart, the per selected range give me alerts when i need to pay attention.
b. the S/R range is additional condition to the Sonic R trade, in order to increase the hit rate, and reduce the trade numbers
c. to me, having average 2 to 3 high quality trades per weeks is enough, my system expetency is
hit rate over 80%,
reward:risk over 2.2 average.
risk 2% to 4% of my capital per trade, 4% for trend trade and 2% CT.
expect weekly return of capital is average 9%
d. making 200pips or 1000 pips per week is NO difference for me, the key factor is how you manage money and risk. therefore, i perfer take less number of trades and make less pip to achieve.

3. I use M15 Dragon for trade confirmation, but not trend judgement, it pays 15% importance in my decision making. and volume only pays 5% in that regard.

4. another important factor for good set up is call "near-term S/R changed and tested" please refer to my previous post. It's just another way to interpert the wave, it more reliable and clean IMO.

I cannot stress the bold enough. Waves are based upon S/R. I use a 3 level MACD and corresponding MA's. Winning the S/R game is knowing how to trade as a winner. KNOW WAVES with at least PA and it you choose to use a MACD if you need to for visual wave trends on a upper and lower chart that you use.

Please clarify. Cause to me at 1.4234 you would have created a possible sonic wave up ??? Dragon up etc.

I was looking at a possible 5M Sonic trade short. Me and TAH where talking about it. If it went through the zone it would have be a great trade and better than what I got in pips. I was looking at a trend line a resistance along with a Resistance level. It bounced and I got it on a the bounce off that level per wave action of smaller charts. I use smaller charts to enter positions on larger charts.

Question about this system;

I havent read through the 1600 pages to get an answer, but is this system good for 'AFK mode?' Meaning, place a trade as indicated from Sonic R triggers, while be away from the screen until work is finish to view/look at screen?

Looks like a great system, going to be a huge learning curve i would imagine.

Anyways, reading and loving the stuff currently!

Sonic, it is good to see you making a stand once again for sound money management, Sonic. This thread has your name on it, and you need to make clear to newbie traders that you do not agree with the TAH Madness Method.

And it is good to see other Sonikers besides myself are finally calling out TAH's irresponsible and dangerous behavior. His commitment to classic SOnicR lasted barely a week, and his unwillingness to follow the set up of the thread has become a form of disrespect to you and to all of those who have tried to help others learn to trade SOnicR properly.

I hope TAH recommits to learning how to trade SonicR properly, and if he is unable to do so, then I hope he at the very least immediatley stops posting his LoserAveragingLosers trades in the thread. It leads others astray, it is not helpful, it is not caring. If he thinks it is a legitimate method, then let hin start his own thread. It is not SonicR.

Two problems here:


1) You were consulting TAH about where to enter a position. You need to use better judgement as to whose posts you follow and whose you do not. TAH belongs in the DO NOT FOLLOW list until he returns to his senses and gets with the classic Sonic Program - Trade with the trend using sound money management. Sonic, Basber, Muhammad, Domasfrom the old school. New kids on the block Enigma and Pipphunter have their act together, and Hansma and NandoRich are doing some intersting fib stuff that is worth your attention. Limit your attention to TAH to his templates. TAH has good SonicR templates. The irony is that he doesn't use SonicR.


2) You are upside down and backwarsds with your time frames. Lookking at smaller and smaller charts is amateur trading. Trust me - no self respecting "Big Boy" looks at an m1 or m5. You should be entering on the m15 based on what the higher time frames are telling you, not entering on the m5 based on what the m15 or TAH is telling you. M15, H1, & H4 for trading S/R, and Daily, Weekly, Monthly for long term trends.
