That's what i have mentioned a few times and working on for some more with "adaptive indices". This is actually not just used in finance but in pretty much every field. I first applied such concepts in biomeds long ago.

a butterfly pattern which will be a bullish pattern to start the week i m looking for it to go down to 1.4179 to finish wave c of wave B before it goes up to finish wave C

Exactly right. At its root is eigenvectors; the "factor weights" are just (possibly renormalized) eigenvalues.

Be aware, though, that since then there was some decoupling that came with the FOMC minutes, as well as the poorest received long bond auction in many years. Day in and out, the "10 year" T-Note is probably a better choice for such comparisons.

Anyone invest in TBill auctions? Seems to me you have to move a lot of cash just to make any bit profitable out of that. Love to get a few more 'safe' investments rolling, but about all I have is savings accounts... and they are crap. 1% apr. whoohoo.
