It is a method that I don't use but I thought I would point them in the right direction as they were basing their trade on this method, albeit incorrectly.

An hour in, and spreads are still pretty wide and shown sizes pretty darn small. I'm carried over long, but not putting a lot of faith in this yet.

Welcome to the mad house (The GBPUSD thread is the asylum). You won't learn in this thread unless you follow just one or two traders. There are other threads that you can learn from, but not in here as there is just too much noise. By all means share your analysis in this thread and engage in the banter which more often than not is just traders wasting time while waiting for their setups.

Possible inv H n S pattern on 1hr on EU, possible neckline at 1.4289... break above the neckline n we can see todaysR2 level or the previous high at 1.4400,
