The most logical time to use an inside bar is when a strong trend is in progress or the market has clearly been moving in one direction and then decides to pause for a short time. Then you play the break out of the inside bar and your stop loss can be defined by placing it below the half way point of the outside bar or mother candle, or for the more conservative trader, below the outside bar itself.

We have been in consolidation for quite a while now and also you have opened a trade before the break out.

However, please do not let me stop you from trading how you see your charts!

Any name you want and you can put it in any folder you want (My Documents is the most logical place). When you click on the attachments button, make sure you remember the name of the file and the folder you saved the image to.

Thanks! I hope you saw my post about inside bar trading. You do need to work on your trading method because you have two sells below price and now you have a buy too. To be honest this is not good trading, but thank you for posting your chart to show the inside bar.

Put 'inside bar trading strategy' in Google and do further research on the matter. You are premature on the entry.

Have you considered or seen so-called "factor" or "principal components" analysis of cross pair correlation matrices? What they do is take some of the spurious correlation readings out, and give, in effect, something more like relative currency indices.

It's been used in yield curve studies for ages, as well as equities for ages.
