Sold up avg price was around 0.755 as well..SL is just around 80pip away from market..argh...

I would love to know what the relationship is between these two pairs.
While looking for some pips this morning I caught the news about possible efforts to weaken the Franc and the possible peg of the Franc to the Euro.
The USD and GBP began to make fast gains while the JPY fell.
This was my first three pair buy/sell combo and I made out pretty well but I noticed that the USD/CHF and CHF/JPY pairs wear moving in concert and did for the rest of the day. The USD/CHF would move up and the CHF/JPY would move down at the same rate.
Could someone please explain this the relationship?

simple, yen was flat
what you have seen in the last days was a simple CHF weakening move

that explains why the two pairs moved almost exactly in the opposite way

if yen would have rised (or dropped), you would have seen something different....read it this way and you will see where the market is moving to

CHFJPY could not have much downside, as JPY crosses shall ultimately reverse too.I think it could be flat or slightly up in a 96 to 104 range

Possible test of your top channel line or purple MA first.

not like i am currency guru but on my charts looks like correction..
ofc if data stand still
chf for some time was overrated
same eurchf it should go up by a lot of pips this week
at least i count on it
suggestions?

btw imho dont think there will be trade reversal sign visible on 1d
look on lower theres already head and shoulders on both eurchf and usdchf

For me we have a reversal candle on W1 chart.
I wait for the market to confirm that.

So far it's just a pullback into the mid channel. I'd say it needs to move at least another 1ooo pips before consideration of reversal. If you feel good about it though don;t let me stop you,

Needs to take major TOP Downward TL. Which will require an additional 750 pips
as well as being sustained.

There may still be a long to the top, but then I will set up short.

never see such move... rumor of a deposit tax sure is very effective at curbing the rise of chf, japan should do the same to quickly depreciate the JPY. heck BOJ could use a 2% tax rumor to send usdjpy above 100.00 in a week!

but if this deposit tax fizzled out, chf will fall hard and fast

everybody hates the USD, and lots are scaredd stiff of EU debt problems... CHF and Gold are one of the few safe havens since Napoleon...

I dont think anything has changed fundamentally since last week in favour of USD...so lets go down on this pair....embrace back CHF
