I got also SL on GBPCHF,lost 3 %,but as i said keep risk as low you can and trade without any preassure..

If we speak about Cable,very flaty about 30 days i think ... I also expext up according daily view but everything is posible..

hello all
i did not posted today as price was doing exactly what was agreed saturday/sunday by some people here in the thread:
a possible move up (but not so much) then down....
all charts posted said that, there was only the doubt about sunday's opening price imho, but price was clearly finding resistance in strong supply area 6440-6470.

i hope nobody went in loss today

guys,
how much can this thing range into 62-64 area?

i feel something gonna happen, but here 6312 is a 'nothing to do area' in my study, unless already short from highs (...)

there is a confluence of things near 6250.
maybe demand will show there (supposing it will ...) for some pips at least on a pullback.
but also possible a move to 6380-6400 again.

i will check price action near these levels.
what am i missing?

on previous chart, golden channel was wrong.
i prefere a lot this version, which shows a possible required test near 6220....

that yellow thing at least explains today's move after its breaking.
white ema200 is below red sma200 this usually means 'move down is near'.

im trying to build up a plan on next possible moves.
harder thing to do than last days!

this area ( 6300 ish ) is prev S/R
july 27-28 : strong support
august 1 ( around ) : strong resistant - there is little gap, only broken after we get strong up move on august 3

6350-ish :
prev S/R ( last friday ) before PA go to 64xx

well just what i see dude... could be wrong and there is news also in next 1/2 hours

well in my chart the level you are mentioning is pip+ pip- the blue rectangle in the middle of main range.

a ping pong into it is possible..

Keep in mind a lot of traders are watching London burning on TV and riots spreading through the country. Not many will go long there...

I see a BIG possibility that cable will go down.

REASONS:
1. Currently GU are facing June-Oct 2009's strong resistance (refer to yellow box on weekly chart). Weekly stoch(10,3,3) shows that currently GU is in overbought level and seems like starting to hook down.

2. IMHO, US' rating downgrade is not a big deal. Who else has better rating than AA? The media over-sensationalize the news and made the whole world panic (including myself).

3. Euro zone are in financial trouble as well. So GBP might not be too favorable for a bullish move. SO, both GBP and USD have equal disadvantage and can still stabilize each other (sort of).

Whatever it is, we have to look for a clear break outside the orange box to see a clear trend(refer to orange box on H4 chart). I have to keep reminding myself - anything can happen in forex.
