The correction from the 60 minute timeframe moved higher and became a 4 hour correction ,at no time were the 60 minute or 4 hour downtrends broken.

You may view the 60 minute and see an uptrend but that is the structure of the correction because the last lower high from each charts downtrend was not broken. Dont forget a correction can contain its own trend that is not an indication of a trend reversal as some were claiming head and shoulders patterns.


One thing you have to remember about trading and this is how the markets really fool most people, i can not say if it is intentional or not, whatever timeframe you look at you are always looking at the subdividing structure of the next higher timeframe swing.

I will give you an example:

When i look at the 60 minute timeframe i am viewing the swings which are the subdivided structure of a single swing on the 240 minute timeframe, when i view the 240 minute timeframe i am viewing the swings which are the subdivided structure of a single swing on the daily chart etc etc.

This comes in very handy because it helps with directional bias a great deal.

Lets consider all those recents swings on the hourly that linked together to form part of the down trend.

Those swings all linked together to form a single swing on the 4 hour chart.

Now lets take that single swing from the 4 hour chart and see if it is part of a daily swing and of course it is and the daily swing is part of a weekly swing etc etc.

I will explain the process for understanding if we are in a correction later if any one is interested.

Gonna take a short on Swissy @ 0.7676, lets see how it goes.

Well that lasted all of 12 hours. Looking at sentiment the extremes on long USDCHF has increased quite significantly really needs more shorts then intervention to get them covering the shorts.

I was just taking look and going to suggest 7653 from the 15 minute but the price beat me to it

the 15 min trend is part of the 60 minute swing and the 60 minute swing is part of the 4 hour trend and the 4 hour trend is a daily swing.

7676 was pretty cool but ive been caught out too many times trying to anticipate the top of the retrace so taking the break of the low at 7653 is always a sure bet for some pips as that confirms the continuation of the trend.
