I know that there will be many fault in my analysis... I am still a novice in Naked trading... Please tell me if anything wrong...

i guess its in the small print. X amount of usd worth in gold.
if it had been worded x ounces of gold. then they were screwed.
but since the u.s. government had the right to set its value. at the time the world was devaluing (Europe). this was screwing the u.s. then buyer beware. this is nothing new. it has happens each time the fed devalues the usd today. we dont consider this a default. if so then China and all Asia is in default as i write, England also

The markets here in Sydney seem to be shrugging off some of the angst of the US default situation. Equities are broadly up.


H1 chart shows a retest of trend extremes being setup. Should be good for a few quid.

Could someone in US with cable check CSPAN and see if the Senate is still in session? Reid said he was going to keep in session until 8:30 to give the House some more time to try to get the votes to pass their bill. I can't find it on line, and don't have cable right here...

Looks to be an ema, almost for sure. It's flat when the price crosses it.

im not trader, but that is a moving average. looks like a 200 day cycle average.

Definitely in the small print, the supreme court however upheld the governments decision although I don't think you would find a sane person to do so...

In todays time there is chicken going on between governments. Nobody really wants to own the gold standard currency. If you do you are going to be screwed in the long term. As citizens its nice to be able to go on the cheap. However its difficult to maintain your manufacturing base and advantage over currencies that have lesser value.

Oh well back to trading for me or at least hoping to trade. Little leery tonight so I may just sit it out.
