im new to this attila but you obviously know what you are doing if you walk away with that number of pips.

Here's your question. Draw a horizontal line anywhere on your chart and count how many times was that pip traded. I'm really not going to go any deeper into this.

Attila, thanks for sharing. I happened to be scanning this thread and came across your last group of posts. I seem to be naturally progressing to something similar.

I'm finding myself trading extended areas on a several TF's where there is a good chance price will EVENTUALLY turn and head towards my target profit area. Sometimes it happens quickly, other times it takes longer. And when it does take longer I can often recover the position, like you mentioned, with additional positions in both directions.

I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Well I know some people are already doing the math in their head.... LOL. The trick to all these is to NEVER over leverage. If you do that, then emotions get the best of you.


I can look at a 100 pips move and go.. hm.

as i mentioned before 4420 first target and then 4340
got my 4340,
right now in medium term EU is neutral bullish trend is over in my earlier posts i said rejection of 4500 will bring EU down and it did.
Weely still in UPTREND
but still EU has room to go to 4260
so Bulls should be carefull here
it is always a pullback but down movement in EU was solid today compared to MACD
as you Guys know i Trade MACD mostly,
it is the oldest tool in Forex, + i have different readings then standard MACD
i use 3 kinds of reading for macd to see the price match,
one of the daily macd tells me that 4250-70 is still in the cards..
Most of you guys were long when i shorted the pair because i saw 3rd test rejection in weekly

What are you looking at for a topside on this retrace? I have around 4405-4420'ish noted.

Had two sweeties last night. Only two things would have made me hold them...

1. Debt ceiling resolved and market USD rallying.
2. A smack in the head from you making sure I understood the stars were in TF alignment.

Didn't grasp #2 until I was already out. So don't be shy...give a guy a smack in the head next time, will ya? I can take it.

It bumped off 4370 which is resistance on m15, 4350 shows on m5, then possible up to 4390. Could go lower, but I just don't think by too much. It's up against a lot of support.
