DislikedI just wait for the candle to close over the ma.
The ma has a shift of 2.Ignored
DislikedAre you saying that you entering the market without predicting the next move?? Don't we all enter and risk because we do predict??Ignored
DislikedHello everyone! I am still testing this system, hopefully I can master it sooner or later
Here you can see what I have considered a really good setup to get into a long trade, but appearenly something went wrong. Could someone explain me why? I entered long on the second candle after the cross (see green arrow), and the reason I thought this was a good setup were the following:
1. Strong TDI cross (2 o'clock)
2. Stoch confirming trend
3. The first candle after the cross was a good bullish one with no lower tails
4. PA seemed to have been...Ignored
DislikedMeanwhile, thanks for the reply
1) say that I trade late because the candles are long already?
2) Swing that mean? where do I see?
3) you're right .. but when I do not watch the Backtest I dont see HL timeframe and trades are always successfully .. even when I enter with 4H watch daily? or weekly?
thanksIgnored
All the best.
DislikedYour TDI did not cross - the green bounced off the bottom with the Stochastics but the TDI green did not cross the red to confirm entry conditions - suggest you re- check Big E's training charts / entry criteria.Ignored

DislikedIf your willing to monitor a 4hr chart... you will see how when green crosses red it arcs or wiggles above or below red (see white boxes on the chart). You can stay the trade until it crosses red and pull down 200-400 pips on the longer runs...Ignored
DislikedEvery time we place a trade, we are, in essence, predicting which way price is going to move.
But, there is a difference between risk and calculated risk. All I'm saying is that if you wait for things to line up before you jump in, your odds of winning increases substantially.
According to this thread, the "proper" entry is TDI green below red with angle between 4-6 and candle close below the MA (with optional stochastic confirmation) for a short entry. This is what I would consider a calculated risk, based on the evidence of trades that...Ignored

DislikedCan anyone comment on the below setup for a Short entry? Does it look correct?Ignored
DislikedSorry, but the green line crossed the red line and it is currently above it - why do you say it did not cross? By the time I entered the trade it still didnt bend horizontally like you see it now, however I did wait for the green line to surpass the red one from below it to above it.Ignored
DislikedHi are you trading 1 hour or 4 hour charts? TDI crosses with all rules or bounces?
