Let's just consider PA moving up to SR area. What the market mover wants to know is do enough buyers predominate to make it worth while to head fake up and then move the price down, or instead, do enough sellers predominate to continue the move up?

If enough buyers predominate, then the market mover can pop the price up and get those buyers into the market, while the market mover goes short. Then, the market mover can reverse the price. As the price falls, longs get stopped out (must sell to close those positions). That selling adds momentum to the downward move, adding profits for the market mover.

If enough sellers predominate, then the market mover can pop the price up and get those sellers into the market, while the market mover goes long. Then, the market mover continues to move the price higher. As the price rises, shorts get stopped out (must buy to close those positions). That buying adds momentum to the upward move, adding profits for the market mover.

So, when price rises to a SR level, or falls to a SR level, we know what the market mover is looking at. What the market mover finds will determine whether PA will continue, or reverse. High trading at the SR level does not indicate what the market mover is finding....enough buyers to go one way, or enough sellers to go the other way. We have to wait for additional PA to indicate what the market mover's response is to what the market mover discovered.

A question that might be asked is, if the market movers have tier data on buy and sell order quantity, then don't they already know what they will encounter at the SR level? Maybe the answer is some of the buy and sell orders are not genuine. They are only there to create an illusion, and they might instantly be pulled if the price gets too close. So, the market movers must "test", must actually get the price to the SR level and see what they encounter once there.

Hansma, how is my understanding of this? Am I on track, or way off base?

mmhh daily and higher tf looking northside --- I try it put a long with tide sl in the market and go sleep.

Master Sonic is bias short (If I understand it right with my poor english)
, I´m very carefull with my longs at the time and use only 0.25% risk.

I don't use the MACD or the 89 EMA at all - I was simply throwing an idea out there for enigma based upon his comment about his own use of the 89 ema.

I'll be posting some charts soon.

Hey Whats up guys , Went long at 1.4200 E/U, looking to close the gap...

EU:

PA is waffling about the whole number area. The deepest stab below attracted the highest activity. This has me thinking a run up could be coming. And maybe that stab was the BBs triggering short orders into the market while they went long. If so, a run up would be a run on the stops of those new shorts. And when those stops get hit, the additional buying required to close them out, will simply add momentum to the upward move, making the BBs longs more profitable.

This is speculative. I am waiting to see if PA moves back higher and breaks up out of the current range.

EU:

Entered EP long = 1.4215 based on PA Waves in whole number area and highest activity at the lowest prices. SL and TPs as shown in pic, but if trade does not run before London open, I'll probably close it. If this is going higher, and has not done so by the London open, the London session BBs might drop it again to load up for the run up.

rather than being nice number... it is Monday and Asia Session...
I advise not to risk it..

you can't. this can be done by broker only. Or you have to look for an indicator for drawing custom candles with opening time you want.

Approving a support level..
I am bearish bias but no more new short for me..for time being..
