Potential swing but why? I still didn't see any reasoning behind. Long term for me means sitting on a position for at least 1 year and longer. To make such a decision PA of any given day doesn't mean much, fundies and outlook of a currency however do.
Hehe I actually have a list of pros and cons of the UK vs Swiss. Will type it up when I have some spare time and discuss with you. It'll be good to get a second opinion.

Along with what was said here, The Aussie is not one to drop easily. You are still fighting carry traders and their want to suck up as much of that interest as possible.

Always lightly loaded on it when shorting it. Infact, I will be pulling the plug on my short tonight as we slide into the next demand zone (supply turned demand, that is).

I look for proprietary repeating price patterns (amongst other things) that I term mini, intermediate and full expanding triangles and these can sometimes signify that a trend may be coiming to an end in favour of either a new opposing trend or a period of ranging/consolidation...they essentially infororm that there may be a change in sentiment (howsoever temporary) and any tren change will be measured as previously described in an earlier post...I can't discuss them here as they are proprietary and part of my proprietary trading edge.

I had it planned all morning, just had to wait for the right PA to have a bit of fun with it. Timing is everything, would have been no fun if the PA did not match the "play"

Thanks for that. Deep, deep envy. My other half is doing the "the Grandkids need me" shuffle, which translates to "it's too damn hot; I'm outta there."
