Hi foxybunny/all
I have read through the required posts and downloaded the templates and indies..but I cannot see the EL1,2,3,4,5 lines in the template..

Can you help me?

Trade update.....

As previously posted, I raised TP, shut down SL, went to bed. PA came down and missed my TP by half a pip.....arrrg! Awoke to see PA back at top. Took a chance at the top with 3rd entry, ES3 = 1.4321. TP1 is void, and now have tentative TPs 2 and 3.

It is looking less likely that PA will reach the H4 trend line in the 1.4350 area. PA can still tap it again at a lower level. Speculation.

There is still no M15 SonicR setup, but with PA back at highs and if it drops, we could get a valid short setup during this London session.

Let the market decide.

This was my long from yesterday (TP was hit already). Now I plan to open a new long somewhere between 1.429-1.428 depending on the PA around that region (except we go below 1.4253), with a TP around 1.437x .

Piphunter, please try something and let me know if it works.

In the upper left of your charts, the OHLC data appears, and is overlaying the Chart Panel. Right click on the chart, select Properties/Common Tab/...and uncheck the box labeled "Show OHLC".

Does your Chart Panel now appear unobstructed?

First, drop the Candle/Volume indicator for now as it seem to cause more headaches here, and not worth it.

Just an observation, which is speculative and could be wrong....

Look at the PV (Price and Volume) relationship for the boxed area. PA was swung down/up on increasing activity. This whole range is a consolidation/preparation range of about 70 pips, but it is clear that the largest activity is at the highs. My interpretation of this is that the market moved the price back to highs to do the bulk of their trading in advance of what is in store for us today. This was running stops on shorts and building a short position.

Let the market decide.

Edit: Now it is a valid SonicR short setup (2nd chart).
1. London session
2. PA Wave at S&R (Whole Number) with H-L-LH (by one pip)
3. Dragon is down

Possibilities for EP, SL and TP are on 3rd chart.

1.4325 has provided a lot of S/R in past weeks... see attached.

We might have a valid classic Sonic short at NY open.

The market seems unready to start the run down. There is a USD high impact release coming later. PA might range. The release event might bring a whipsaw. A close SL might not serve well. We already talked about PA resistance at the 1.4350 area, well within whipping range. These are all considerations should the trade be running and the break and run down not soon occur.

I have closed my three positions from earlier.

34 pips profit on ES1 = 1.4310 closed at 1.4274
23 pips profit on ES2 = 1.4299 closed at 1.4274
45 pips profit on ES3 = 1.4321 closed at 1.4274

With the USD high impact release coming, and no immediate sign of any pre-release move down, the market might just keep it ranging until it decides what it is going to do later with the price. Since PA is in bottom of range, I decided to exit and wait. The PA Wave may reform over time. And PA could then go either way.

Let the market decide (...and apparently it is not going to decide until later)

Interesting observation on USDCHF today.
There was huge ammount of volume and rising this morning while price was moving nowhere. But immediate after GBP news release all traders abandoned it

Likely the market is using the whole range to prepare. The last high volume/spread bar (red) took PA back to bottom of the range. If longs are being gathered up, I suspect the bottom of the range is where the market would like to keep PA. But, the market will have to swing it up/down to get others to go opposite.

My volume study shows it peaked again at the bottom

Isn't that amazing? PA is in a range. There is a USD high impact release the market is preparing for. And traders still have trades with SLs inside the range? Lunacy!

At this point, wait for the fireworks. Even if a PA Wave reforms current to the release, maybe still wait for a decisive range break...maybe a break and pullback, which would be like a SonicR re-entry.

Let the Market decide....which right now means the way things are shaping up, price has again dropped to the 1.4250 area, so a run up to 1.4350, and maybe higher, is still a possibility. Wait for the Market to decide.
