how would you know that those orders are sell stops?

what i mean i placed a sell stop order at that price i dont do (instant sell or buy) I use my strategy which i developed and it has kept me in the market over 3years now. My analysis help defines Safe Trade points in which there is minimal losses and once that is done I put a stop orders at the Safe Price. Oh my Buy Stop order has just been hit. let me see how it runs

Do you also use Moving averages to klear out the direction of the price? Which indicators or strategies do you use? or actually all of you guys? Im quite new and want to improve my strategy(moving average crosover).

Shorts are very very risky at the moment. Look at the price action over the past couple of days - the big boys have been hoovering up cable and the move upwards is now beginning. IMHO this is looking very bullish for the next couple of days. I got in at 1.61 targetting 1.64

I trade daily and hourly candles not long term. my target is 100pips and dats stands. If we all know the direction of trend then no losers always +pips which is our ultimate target.

Got out with a +40 pips today. Im not trading G/u till next week. What I see is just a retracement till 1.6260 which I will be placing my Sell Limit.

hello,
in euro usd things looks bit more clear than gbp usd. i missed that move from 4150 today
doesn't matter will get it if consolidates above 4350

about gbp usd i have different setup.
i need it to get again above main daily trendline to trust it to go more up.

overall i agree with you, but as i need confirmation from price, i will follow step-by-step what goes on!

after lunch things looks bit more clear
h1 need to brake above descending red line to go for 6250-70 (already named area)

in m15 try to be supported by green line upward.

setup complete:
i will trade the brake of green to next support 6130-40 + yellow line (pattern) or other way the brake upward to next res 6220-30 + 6280

any other idea?

after blowing my personal account in 2007 I decided to study and develop my own working strategy. Today am a fund manager. I prefer people have their own working strategies.

I started with $250 + $70 and almost blew it up. Ive been trading for about 3 months now and Ive only started trading with a moving average strategy 2-3 days ago.
