i don't think USD/JPY will go lower than 79.80. Bernanke will talk tomorrow. Hang in there

Not a single hair on my body is thinking of selling this pair at the moment.
Just waiting and buying @ strategic places is my only option here.

I admire your confidence, but I don't share it!! I don't think anything much can be sorted out on this pair until we know what that idiot Bernanke is going to do at the end of the month!

Just google for it, more and more people are talking QE3 is the only option, not as a stimulus for the economy (of course they will call it that way), but to keep the $$ from falling through the floor.

And yes I'm confident, still no s/l's used, I can go a long way still. and lol, as far as I'm concerned, they can go try a new all time record low.

I'm prepared for action in a split second. It's 4:10 AM here but no going back to sleep now.

don't get over-confident, I was recently and it was expensive....
I don't see how a possible QE3 will keep the $ from falling through the floor, can you explain?

Sorry Bear, at this hour of the night..... hadn't had much sleep, getting things mixed up.
US might HAVE TO raise the debt sealing, because QE3 WILL probable MAKE the $ falling through the floor.

That also keeps the risk of losing AAA rating away.

We need 4 hour close above 80 to keep UY from falling further, we'll see.

how can QE3 strengthened the usd in short time, QE3 is a double edged sword it cuts both ways. i expect to see price ranging at 80.16 and 79.70. QE can only weaken the dollar even more. it will be interesting to see if BOJ prints more money to counter the effects of a new stimulas plan.

QE3 won't strengthen the US dollar. As I said, the dollar index will likely weaken if there is a QE 3. However, I expect the dollar to strengthen versus the Yen do to the expected boost to the US economy.

Contrary to popular belief, Quantitative easing is not "printing money", it is merely an asset swap where the Fed swaps bank reserves for treasuries or other yield bearing assets. Unless the banks actually lend more money, which they don't because they lend based on the deposits they have, not their reserves, the inflationary effect is mitigated because the money never gets into the economy.

Usd/Jpy Buy 79.80/85 then 79.70/75 then 79.45/50, sell 80.40/45 then 80.55/60 then 80.75/80

Usd/Jpy This pair is still on daily downtrend, retracement is at 80.40 break and base above is to 80.90 then 81.10/20 must hold, while 80.00 might hold for low but if breaks would target my above buy signals
