TO Eelfranz:

Would it be possible to show all of the entries you take this week - the first week of May? Win or lose. I am not asking for chart examples (unless you have to to post them), but just a quick note in the blog of all trades you take. If you wanted, a simple list at the end of this week would be great. Since I use FXDD, I would want to compare. Don't bother with "real time posts" - I am not looking for entry signals. I just want to see your "trade log" if possible so I can compare my entries to yours.

I will try to post my entries this week as well.

I wouldn't take that one myself. Long angle on TD is weak. TD is already at 68 * stock kinda flat. Also, it's not a great time, evening on sunday night before the open.

I am trying to learn this system so please do not take offense to my question; what indication do you see that would create a "sell" opportunity? If anything, I would think a 'buy" trade would be appropriate, but doubt that I would do even this. Why would you think a "sell" may be setting up?

Also the APB (HA Bars) are still Green with no indication of a break of the 5ema. Can you post the chart you are looking at? Even with TDI over extended into the 68+ area you still would want some additional confirmation of a turn the break of the 5ema will put the odds in your favor.

I would say no trade for now. Keep looking.
Yeah i thought the TDI was going to cross but it didn't thats why i said it maybe giving a sell signal. I didn't enter the trade because there was no sell signal

The beauty of this techinique is you don't have to try and anticipate, it either is or it isn't, try not to leave the cross to a judgement call. let it happen, then work with the next candle. so many times I tried to anticipate a signal on a technique and ended up getting burned. just let it happen if the setup is real it will pay you well, if it's not don't try to force it. Just let it happen, leave ego's and emotions at the door. When you look back at all the trade possibilities you'll come back to "if only I'd waited for the true setup signal" I've been there many times, so now whether it be this technique or another I just wait for it to come to me to my rules as I have laid the plan out.
Eelfranz....how often, if ever do you trade the 1 hour charts....or how often do you trade anything other than the 4 hour chart?? A lot of people here seem to be trading the one hour with success but my confidence is at an all time low and I really only want to trade the most consistent and safest chart which I am assuming is the 4 hour. Just wondering how often you trade other time frames?

Chillipipper: Thanks for comment. I checked 4 hr later, cadjpy stopped out with a small gain, two other manually closed at a loss.

Umm interesting the timing of this. Yes it should be $ positive for a short time.

So looking across a few of the charts I can now see quite a few potential setups usd/cad, nzd/usd, eur/aud....all on the 4 hour charts
My question is, in light of the current news in regards to Bin Laden being killed, is it best to ignore these trades because they are possibly generated by the news item or are they still valid and tradeable??
