Aussie, I would love to see a interest rate decrease. All those people currently holding because of position/carry trades will create quite the fall downwards. It will be one hell of a brutal unwinding, for sure.

Absolutely. I think it is almost a certainty that interest rates will decrease in AUD. The double whammy of a huge housing bubble in both China and Australia will not be pretty for the AUD. China is responsible for 30% of AUD exports, and most of those exports have went into over capacity in the Chinese economy, think metals (copper), coal etc etc.

The PBOC are going to prick the bubble there in real estate, and it will be anything but orderly. I think the fundamentals are so strong for a weaker AUD.

Your fundi assesment may be right but considering the aussie technicalls after a recent break out into a trend on the daily around 2379 is only natural to have a correction back to retest that area so long term i would still be looking for longs on the aussie , short term 60 minute downtrend was confirmed on a break of 5244 but looking at the daily we need to break 0384 for a deeper correction down to 2379 which is the res becomes support from the trend break out

Of course all markets seem crazy but in that crazyness there is indeed method , look for a new trend and then see where it fits in to the timeframes higher than the one you are trading,

we will see very soon very wild outbreak for usd/chf.

Look at this candle formation at the chf/lfx.

Price stalls and goes sideways for days.

Compare this chart with daily chart eur/usd.

This is profit taking in my eyes. Most importend is, where this profit taking happens. For eur/usd it appears at 1.45, round number.

For chf/lfx it appears at weekly resistance (see weekly chart).

If we have a daily close above this canlde formation, we have a bull break
(means drop in usd/chf), but I expect a drop in chf/lfx in here, which means a large bull candle for usd/chf.

Weekly candle will be very interisting.

Peaches, looks like your looking at about the same thing as I am. I'm looking to start loading up a swing trade tonight on the ol swissy north bound. No targets as of yet, and I am going to be light in it just for the sake of today action being a possible knee jerk nonsense.

We'll see how it goes.

NZD is technically very much overbought. I`m short for target ~0.75.

Will be interisting candels on higher timeframes (weekly/monthly),

But this is off topic.

the problem is the usd. In my charts we are in the middle of nowhere. USD Bulls are there, but maybe the need 2-3 weeks more time. Until then we have to be clear in mind and reverse trades if PA tell us.

I`am convinced, if I have a clear weekly pattern (My home is candlestick pattern trading). I will post here with explanation, if I see one for usd/chf.
