Yes he is the puppet master of the pair and is a genius, as most central bankers, at managing the markets not managing the EZ economic, fiscal, social and "democratic" problems (that is not ECB or any other central bank role).

If you can't find a good example of that I don't know what you have been looking for in the past 2 years. If you need examples just open your calendar with ECB conference and go to your charts...there are enough examples to keep you busy until tomorrow announcement.

The current example is on Jan 13 when he mentioned for the first time a hike in April with very hawkish comments in the middle of a new attempt of a selloff on debt crisis. Price hasn't stop trending since then....I hope it helps.

yep... and he created inflation in the ez with these comments. was that the goal? if so, yes a genius... if not, not so bright. cause now he has to raise to curve his mandate on inflation. had he kept his mouth shut inflation would be less and ez exports greater. but if this was the goal... mission accomplished.

Reading this make everything look like its tanking ,but just one that i follow closely is oil .

You comment oil is down and down on the day,But you fail to mention today oil broke $109/barrel for first time since 2008 ,That happened today,it is currently still up .5% on the day ,but has dropped off the high but not by much considering its come from $85 couple weeks ago .

Do you consider roughly 25% rise in the commodity that controls the cost of everything you buy, knowing its affect is to weaken dollar,will not over time raise this pairs value ?

Consider we have only moved $1.30 too $1.43 that no were near the % of oils rise ,if oil sustains these lvls or rises and add interest rate rises,while us keep rates down .
Doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out what will happen .
1.5000 will be reached and if nothing changes breeched.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

Yes, that is actually my point.... EZ is in deep shit and markets are rallying !!!

Is about managing expectations and markets not in correcting EZ members economic problems at national level (the ECB or anybody can fix the mess in Portugal, Greece and Ireland) ... don't forget that the only job for the ECB in the EZ is managing inflation and monetary policy not solving fiscal problems.

So desperation or not is irrelevant, the ECB is still holding the euro .... for how long? don't know but whatever they said and did, convinced a LOT of money to buy euros from 1.18xx.

In simple words, until price proof us wrong you have to give credit when is due....

I did not call a top....I trade price movement.......and all prices are at 30 month highs....so I look for a down movement....

and let's be real here....the big boys and everyone else have bought up the market and oil from the lows based on the anticipation of a recovery.....the market numbers and oil are at the numbers that we saw on 2008! Do you really think that things are any better now then they were before the crash??? Look at the numbers - look in your newspaper.....how are those job ads lookin???? Things are terrible out there.....it is like Alan Greenspan said.......when things are dark and dim - pump up the market and make things look good so that people think things are good and then everything will be ok......hmmmmmmm is that also genius????
