wow. not sure weather that was a shot or not,but yea I'm definetly not a seasonal trader, just super busy with going for two masters degrees at a school that's 45 minutes away.
Really didn't know how to trade the dissaster in Japan based on the pairs I trade. The only pair I have traded in the past that has the yen are the dragon,aud/jpy, and eur/jpy. I use to trade the eur/jpy and aud/jpy over a year ago when it was a slow and steady pace up.easy pips.
As for the vacation, I really don't see the point right now for one. The way I see it, the only traders who deserve vacations are those that have earned them by getting profits on a daily basis.

Hey brothers,

I'm still on the long trade with 20lots long @ 1.6140
Now i shifted the stoploss to 1.6019
TP- open.

I am gonna drink n get drunk and probably when i wake up it should be maybe close to UK open.

News after 1:30 mins after the Uk session opens. so i dont know what would happen then.

If GBPUSD has fallen down in asian and by that time not reaching my stoploss. i will probably add another 20lots in long with the same stoploss respected @ 1.6019 .. if it hits that and makes me a big loss. i will accept it and move on as i have the whole month of april left to get out of it and move on.

I wish you all bros good luck whichever directio you choose and please wish me good luck too. so my trades go positive and i could close over 1.62

What I find sort of odd is to reveal how many lots, in all reallity no one here really needs to know that. Revealing your position and SL and TP, and basis and conviction for your position, i.e. Long or Short is fine...... however to mention how many lots, kind of seems a little pointless to reveal, just my point of view

Today was kinda slow day after that NFP madness on Friday. Generally, looks like we are stuck in a consolidation between 1.60 and 1.64. So, looking for a decent PA to go either long or short. Watching 1.6220 area for shorts or if not, 1.6270 and above. Otherwise, long, but need a decent PA above 1.6140. Weekly TF looks messy with a bearish inclination.

But we are talking about someone willing to loose 100 pips each on his 20 lots trade.. so this 'just' a consolidation can drastically change his life (for opposite ofcourse).

Isn't willing, but accepts in order to make 100pips on each on of his 20 lot trades he has to risk it hopefully with the belief atleast that he'll be up.

But yes posting Lot size is showing of purely and likely lying ofcourse, but if not lying then 20lots 100 pips to him being already rich has the same impact to me as 100pips and 2lots ( being $2 per pip ).
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

I ask that you place your SL @ least 10pips below 1.6000 I expect price to touch this level before any further possibility of an up move. Happy trading! Meshach

Sometimes I just show my lot size to make it clear that I am not trading Demo or Mini accounts.. I just say something like 'One standard lot'... even though if I had more than that.. and when we have someone coming in with 20 lots size.. so I dont know what to think of it. Posting lots differentiate between Mini/Demo traders and actual traders with real money and risks behind it.. it makes a difference between Real and Demo/Mini. Lot of thoughts, emotions, decisions, convictions, promises.. dont you think so? I mean the difference between playing a video game and being in a real life when where your actual course of human life depends on it, what you think?

I believe (with all my heart), people who trade 20 lot positions with their own (or clients') money, very rarely (and I mean extremely) post any messages on this forum.

And would I care anyway about who trades what lots? Good luck to him and many pips!

I know the guy who talks about 40 lot and 60 lot trades in here, and I know its demo, coz he can never trade that huge on real, but I let him feel proud of it, why bother.

we have euro rate hike due this week, it will be an 800 pip run to 1.5000 ; i am just waiting to get a good place to get in on 1 hour ; of course 4 hour needs to agree too.

Currently, I am looking for 1.6140 - 1.6150 area to scalp short, or 1.6070 - 1.6080 area to scalp long. Inbetween these - no trade. Will update later, when these levels change.
