Over bought for a little bit, double topmaround .4280, I guess the 2cd half ofmweek will dictate the new trend. (referring to eu conference)

why don`t you use the "Swing chart" feature of the DT software to get a better idea about the price pattern/elliott count ?

many are so sure. it makes me wonder.. no bounce?.. personally ill miss a long at this level.
reverse? i don't know that either. but neither does anyone else. will i ignore this? nope..... i c a stair pattern atm (purple circles)..

i don't see Led Zeppelin welcoming us atm.. Yes.. i may be wrong... yes.
there are 2 paths. yes there's still time. lots of buying the stairwell to heaven.. will a new day dawn for those who stand long? or will the direction of the stairs remain?

From Jul 2008 top to may 2010 bottom on weekly 61.8 retrace

around 1.4430 +- (that's probably a target, if Trechet do rise rates)

On the same weekly triangle top trend line around 1.4310 +-

That's only from tech prospects of view, but fundamentally EUR should

trade around 1.30 as of now, only speculation about early rate hike

keeping EU flying high at the moment.. IMHO..

i agree. i wouldn't blindly enter long from here also, but at the same time, there is no valid short set up (at least for me) either.
until i see a valid topping formation or short set up. i don't care even if soro's grandpa calls for short. i'm staying on course.

with all due respect gator, i think you are a good trader, one of the few that i've seen in ff. unfortunately, i can't understand your chart. i only know how to trade my set up that works for me with my own pace. bottom line for me, i need to have a specific criteria in order for me to execute the trade even if i have to miss the initial wave.

i got the same opinion
if we didn't have surprise with rate hike in Eur that pair would be down already.
On the other hand most of rate raise is already in price , the same story like with QE2, 24 hours after announcement we had huge move down which have lasted for the next month and move the pair to ca. 1,3
what will move this pair up after EU decision ?

i wasn't telling you to trade either way.. but invite you to look at where we were (oct 2000) and where 6038 is.. and where we currently are. i don't know where we r going. but i do expect bounces along the way hundreds or thousands of pips..

i am aware of that too gator, and also looking at the level possibly turn into a double top as many people here refer to. if price gets to that level, bounce or break, i would let the candle formation or pattern speak to me. besides 1000 pips drop is not gonna happen (hopefully) in a single line. there should be another opportunity for me to get in, if bounces.
