But anyway, regardless of whether you feel that gap is 'real' or some artifact of my broker opening and closing, that area would be a good one to short from in the context of the larger downtrend, and imbalance between supply and demand there.

I've never really paid much attention to the Swissy here, but, I think I am going to have to add it to my list of long term trading charts. The daily is a little to smooth to completely ignore.

It does look to be a good time to be loading longs... maybe a further drop, but need to see a break of some highs/lows here.

In reality, it looks more like a really small continuation triangle (bear).

Are u going long until then ?Coz im not touching this pair if i get out of my longs at 34xx,because all this rally down was of Libya,and since it might be over soon,this pair gonna be lagging like usd/jpy with few pips going each day and stuck at bottom for ages.Now thats just my oppinion :]
Ps.The gap is caused because your broker Fails to add Sundays candle into monday

Maybe, just maybe we may get a healthy retrace back to the 9400 level. We need to break out of this current triangle though.

9320 to the topside, 9242 to the lower.

Don't know what anyone else thinks about this chart,
but for me thats got to get moving up pretty quick
or it might just get really horrid to the down side.

just won't go through. I refuse to take my long of this pair because I know when i close out it is going to keep going.

When it goes though it is really going to fly. I am too lazy to scalp. although this has been a really nice range trade for a few days now for a few 30 pips each way.

Hey euro, I have been building a long over the last few trading days as well... however, this price action is just absolutely insane today. I'm not sure what's going to happen anymore.

Everything still points to at least a little bit of a retrace, but damn... lol

dont know your circumstances,but sometimes to close half or some of the positions is a good thing,as we are in no mans land,and no one knows for sure how much or when it gonna retrace or drop again,and basically now the euro and gbp ar tanking dollar hard,and if the euro break through 3860 and pound 63xx,CHF might follow them aswell into deep 0.90xx-0.89xx.

While everything else sold off a little against $
that bank of offers up at 9320 held solid,i sold from around
there twice today,not big pips but very easy though,might be
like this till Friday.
On eu/usd thread today someone asked why the euro move one
way and swissy not go the other way today.
Stupid me thought i'd be clever and ask him if the Franc was the same
as the euro,(not if us/chf was the same as eu/us),i thought the question
would be almost self explanatory,but one 10 v trader told me i should go get another job and give up trading if i didn't know the difference.
Oh well,onwards and upwards.

The USD/CHF broke this level and stayed below it. I heard the US dollar index has also broken a significant support level?

No change,still selling the rips.
The Franc still in demand it would seem.
Swissy still looks short.
Yes a bounce will come but there has been no PA
yet to say when,risk far to big to the down side.
But that could change fast.

Still watching it, there is important news this week that usually affect usd/chf, the employment in the US, this beside the revolution in some countries, specially if these are big expoters of oil.
