Morning All,

I m still bearish is euro towards 3645-48.. so i m looking to short it.. even my 4H is still up but the maximum up in 4H is 3819 break that then 3838.. if i look at short time period hourly up towards 3793.. so i have a plan to take short position in between 3789-93 with stops above 3825.. the supports are now held on 3747, 3726, 3698 and 3675.. while the resistances above are at 3789, 3793, 3808, 3819, 3825 and 3838, so i have so many resistances above while i have weak supports held below, i will cancelled my short plan if it closes above 3838..

Shorting the damn thing is like getting in front of a train coming right now.

However, it might retrace to 37-ish if you are lucky.

But, we have sort of positive data for US possibly coming out. So you never know.

Gator, you wouldn't happen to have a dollar index chart that goes back to the 70's would you. I'm curious of the all time high, could swear its like 163 or something. I'd like to have that number, so I could do some absolute Fib retraments on it. Thanks PTL

Not as far back as you want, but since '87, looks like around 121., in early 2001

Thanks for the link brother. I have seen charts that go back further, to the early 70's, I used to have a huge wall chart in my office that the NYFE had sent out to brokers to promote it, pretty sure they started trading it the 80's. I think the data that goes further is just reconstructed. For some reason 163 or 164 keeps popping into my head.

Even i beleive on luck.. but before to look i m lucky or not.. i prefer to look at my charts and made a whole day plan that where i trade an how i trade.. profit or loss thats the part of every business.. if in case i m in loss.. it doesnt matter..because i know how to recover.

Well, lets talk about daily.. My daily curves are exhausted and if i look at price then it seems to me exhausted, Because last day it cant cross 3800. and if i look at maximum in daily then its nearly held on 3910-13. but it depends on the clean break through 3838.

3753-58 area is alltime preferable for me. when the market comes to that price.. i very much focus on it and last daily close i got at my platform below 3753-58.. for some long move i prefer to look at 30M , hourly n 4H and too many resistance i have on three charts. 5M maximum up is held on 3787, 15M 3789, 30M and hourly is on 3793 break that then the next is 3808 and 3819..

In case it touch 3910-13.. i have a plan to place a big short at there.. Because i m still a big bear in euro..

Good analysis, but being a big bear is early yet. Take a look at daily chart. We have to bounce off of 1.395-ish to be big bears technically speaking.

Classic5K posted downthread, and you had it pegged, for the looks.

The NYFE! Did you have a seat? They were around 10 grand. I almost bought half of one; they had T-bonds, if you remember. I asked around, though, and the general tone was "meh." So my friend bought the whole, I think for around 12. Sold it a couple years later for 6. Leased it out for 183.33 a month on a 2 year lease, exactly covering the seat hold costs.
