Not at all Infintius. Our discussion was about a leading diagonal way back in the rise from 1.342x.

So, where are you seeing the leading diagonal now?

I'm having trouble seeing it.

No ... no need to discuss that atm ... as Elliott alone does not help us that much ... we need to know all methods ... not loosing the complete overview ...

we are at the lower boundary of the upsloping blue pitchfork. Its median line crosses the downsloping pink trendline (1.6x, 1.52x) at around 4381

For that to be reached we would need a lot of momentum, but the recent upmove so far looks corrective.

Suggestions?

Personally, I wouldn't read too much into it. London is closed and USD is on vacation, what I *think* we're seeing are just correction fluctuations around the London closing price.

Almost everyone else seems to be on the short bandwagon now though, despite everyone saying it would continue up to 1.4 before the weekend. I really don't know what to think come the real week opening tomorrow.

Especially after most of the European stock indexes closed down bigtime today, between -1.25 and -2.5%.

Curious what Asia will do and then as usual will U.S. stock futures and then stocks themselves on Tuesday morning pull their arses back up. This time they might not. Who knows.

I was in a rush and did not read the thread. But 1 min ago I read, that you were talking about a leading rising diagonal.

But I was suggesting, that the top was made on Friday.

I can imagine two leading diagonals, where the second is the move down from fridays high (we are here in wave 4 of it) and the first LD runs from the high at 1.386x. Here we would be in wave 5 (wave 4 topped on Friday).
