it got hit but i don't even know about it
it hit like 2 hrs ago ... damn ...
coulda take + 20 PIPS ... long time ago ...

Ouch Chicky, glad to see that your money management kept you alive.

I think you have figured out though, is that you were consistent. It's better to have consistent losers then be all over the map, IMO. It means you are just missing one little piece of the puzzle, and from the way you have been talking, you found that piece.

Hmm... anyone ever tried applying fib's to roulette?

1 + 1 = 2; (two blacks) = next red
1 + 2 = 3 (black > two reds) = next black
2 + 3 = 5 (two reds > three blacks) = next black
3 + 5 = 8 (8 blacks) = next red.

Actually, there's a classic system that is something like that! You bet 1, and write it down. If you lose it, write 1 next to it on the list, and then bet 2. Lose that, write 2 down, and then bet 3.

Always bet the sum of first and last numbers on your list. When you win, you cross the first and last numbers off the list, and then bet the first plus last of the remaining list.

The system gives you a net 1 gain whenever the number of wins = 1 more than half the number of losses. Still subject to all Martingale properties, of course, but slower.

Thinking about it, I think it might actually have fib properties in the limit...
