The price moves based on supply/demand, regardless of how we see that on our charts. Some use s/r, PA, VSA, etc. etc. The point is this. There is ALWAYS demand in the marketplace. What makes prices move up/down is the amount of supply. This is what the smart money manipulate. So, if the price is falling, it means a lot of supply for that side of the pair. How do one stop that drop? By drying up the supply, and that's done by buying...

Is this how your EA interprets the PA?

Or are you saying smart money = buying during a down trend and selling during an uptrend?

Eitherway it has been my experience that the "not so smart" money is buying during a downtrend and selling during uptrend in hopes that a reversal will bounce back all of the losses.

The only pitfall I can practically see with this strategy is that margin calls are often met when going against the PA. If you have found a way to perfect this please share charts and examples of your entry/exit.

You and me could do a trade between us on the phone exchanging dollars and euros and transfer details. That would be a trade. Would anyone care?

Tokyo Banks trading their pre-open and Frankfort/London/NYC Banks staffing levels at bare minimum is not what I would call open that anyone should care about either.

Except of course if a BIG news event happens over a weekend or a holiday period.

EUR/USD will get back to around 1.3540 before any drop
further down.....Its Sunday .... usually within 12 hrs...

ok... but the retail brokers sure do follow the never close brokers in the form of a gap at times.

haven't looked at it in a while.. japan owes 100% in gdp value. so any interest they pay is added to the 100%. this could go on forever or crash at any time. what is their central bank gonna do.. start paying negative rates?
if something does happen with the oil supply in the mid east japan will feel it more then anyone.

Exactly the opposite is the fact ... Interbank market is commonly known as 'the market' ... and there are only a few 'finance services' that cannot provide you all those global connections that are needed for that in order that you can benefit from direct access to the market ...

Your 'services' are sleeping then ... or are not able to give you this ... gute Nacht ... !
