yeh there were a lot of other trades who couldnt log in last night....curious.

i use activtrades.

As far as this pair goes I am not touching it for now. it looks like it wants to make a nice run upward but I aint touching any Longs at this point. Probably just keep my eyes on it for the next couple of days or so.

I think I will jump on a buy now for a pullback to 1.6145

1.6000 is the pivot and the rest of the idies are down.
1.6150 R1 more or less so I will have 1.6145 to be sure.

let's see how it goes

Today flows kind of BIZZARE. initially i support buy back from 609X and expect 10-15pips SL 20pips form today opening 6092. GU fall accordingly after released of EURO fundamental.
Do not offense, i might be wrong, only supply a bigger picture.

I'm not offended We all are here to learn from each other.If we would know everything and had 100% winning ratio we would spend more time with our trades and not care about the others

the fall is imminent I just hope for the pullback ...not sure anymore if it will hit the 1.6145 but will still go up a bit to give me some pips.

about the fibo.....I know most of the traders here will swear at me but for me it does not work )
I tried it some times but the price just refused to go to the important levels of fibo....like 25 % of the cases so I just dropped it.It is just a mental level that not all follow and I think that's why it does not work all the time

i'm not gonna swear at you because i've had a similar experience .They are about my fourth down the list of tools that i use.I sometimes wish i could use them like Cobby, another poster here,but as you say, we each have to work with the levels and methodology that we feel confident and comfortable with.

well this is how it goes.
the trendline strategy is like this:

1-you draw the trendline for an uptrend or downtrend.
2-as soon as one candle pierces the trend line you open the eyes and wait untill the candle closes.
3-if it closes under or above the trend line(depends on what are you long or short)you just wait for the second candle to see where it goes.
It might be a fake brake of the level so it can turn back.if it is a real brake then the pullback is going only to the old trend line and stops there and later continues in the direction of the brake.
4-enter after pullback

5- if the brake is too strong there will be no pull back and you cannot enter but better safe than sorry

please find attached the screenshot with the H1 trendline and my projection to where the candle is supposed to close.

This strategy is combined to Ichi and other indies as RSI,stochs and momentum to tell me that the second candle will go up as all the indies were on the bottom at that time

Hi,

I have recently started using AXItrader in australia

best i've come across, not that i have a huge broker burn list...
spread on cable this session has averaged 19 points...
with the lowest variable spread 12 points and 30 points being the widest
today... very quick execution... and so far they have been great...

I reccomend them at this point without hesitation...

I just did some researches on the charts and saw that in many cases even on the higher TFS which are supposed to be noiseless still are some fibo levels not reached....the price stops some 5-10 pips away and if you are having a nap your TP will never be reached.

this happens either because people trade overconservative as I do and keep some 5-10 pips as an envelope or people calculate the fibo wrong

still people belive in it as traders,especially the technical traders need to belive in an indi....afterall we all belive our indies are showing us the future )

As for trendline.. Trust your eyes and try to pull a line that connects at least 2 tops/bottoms. For starters, to convince yourself that these lines MAY work, do so on m15/m30 TFs, and see for yourself that they are 'respected' (i.e. At least u shd see signs of hesitation when price gets near the trendline).

Edit: Oops I didnt notice rbb replied anyway, was curious abt ur fren.

or if you are lazy you can use this indi on a virgin chart(don't install it on top of your's just open a new one to see it clearly)

Absolutely the same experience. I've come to the conclusion that unless you get into the method as thoroughly as Cobby has done that the accuracy leaves the way open to falling back on other indicators. In doing that i always end up taking the fibs off because my charts get so crowded. Not denying their value and accuracy just not for me at this point in time as i feel the method needs 100% focus.Nice convo., this is why i love this thread.

Can not expect the price to hit the very exact number. 5--10 away? Close enough for me.

BURST. i got emotion disturbed during CHINESE NEW YEAR. VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.
N i did not trade from Wednesday until today... Within 100hours, everything gone with the wind. This type of feeling u will never experience till u got a fren with his account BURSTED, n i am the 1 who introduced him to forex.

he gained 600% from his DEMO acc, from this INCIDENT. i learned "Nvr overconfident". Stop Lost is your bottom line, that u willing to lose especially when "Natural disaster strike, such as EGYPT affairs, OIL Price, AU FLOOD, IRELAND CRISIS, GLOBAL WARMING...."

Personally i donot think the incident could happened, i am the 1who WITNESS the whole process. and i have no choice to BELIEVE it. FOREX TRADING is a LONGTERM LIFE-LEARNING INVESTMENT not a 1time GAMBLING EXPERIENCE.

i learned to be more careful in OPENING POSITION NOW, browsing NEWS foreigncountry sharemarket movement, checking oil price,avoiding Fundamental.
Now i planned before i make a move, no more RECKLESS played.
