as predicted except for a minor mistake.the trend line I was talking about on H4 I thoght it was H1 and counted 3 more candles right that projected the price to 1.6163 ...but It was the same candle ending at 1.6154....damn .anyway the price tested the trend line and did not pierce so.......next stop 1.6010 traders

Thanks mate. Will have to contact the technical department on Monday and see what needs to be done. I did format my laptop a few days ago and re-installed everything so might be the browser.

Yes I'm on the CFD account as I trade in shares as well. It's been playing up for the last few days so need to sort it out. Annoying as hell as it needs to load pages asap which it's not doing atm.

I have told it b4, news will making fools and there you go gbp gone south and now at a resistance level 6066 lowest and if the price can get through it next level will be 6003......and for eurusd 3457 - 3515 for the next level b4 it will be retrace up.......

Just rang IG markets and installed mozilla firefox browser which has solved the problem. Thanks Chaz and Ramksanj.

Trading on a friday afternoon too balsy for me Chaz. Waiting to see what happens. Have my eye on the 4H stochastics which are in the oversold region so expecting an upwards move but will wait till Monday probably. Not ruling out a quick 5m scalp here and there.

you know guys, once we realize that the market makers are not particularly happy to have us take pips outta this market,and the fact that they have first hand info on what we the retailers are doing all the time, we will start to anticipate mischief from them and it just might improve our hit ratio. now look at a classic example of this NFP. the market started moving down with purpose a bit before NFP to lure in retailers who will then think that the big boys had inside info on figures and had started the trade. the retailers jump in and put their stops. the big boys smile and chase the stops just b4 news is released. they knock out the stops and then the market sinks in their original direction (which they intended anyways...news or not)

however does one stay alive in this...MM i guess and sometimes, doing the opposite of what the retailers are all fixing to do....lol!!!

cheers all and nice weekend. we shld be getting set to buy come midnight sunday by which time i suppose price might have bounced off the 80ema on 4hr chart.

But unfortunately, there is no time to analyze these trades and post them on the Forum. It is for this reason that I do not post - used to before but then other members want to see charts etc etc - not within my competence !

Hi Ifty,only just caught your post. I've used their charts(IT Finance) from word go. Always slow on days of high user load. Also more charts you have in your files the slower the individual charts are to click though TFs. mine regurlarly freeze.also have to clear history regularly.
Talking the trading platform alone ( IG Index). They are very slow imo to fulfill entry and exit. Finally moved back to my old broker yesterday to check out why IG was performing particularly badly....wow what a difference in speed of execution. I'll only go back to IG if i suffer a loss to the extent of having to go back to a £0.50 pp acount...next week prolly.lol

Hi Kas, I phoned them up and was told to install Mozilla Firefox and WOW it has made a world of difference. FAST AS HELL. It was the IE browser that was conflicting and slowing it down. Overall I am very happy with IG so hopefully full speed ahead from here . Forgot to mention, I don't use their charts as I use VT2 from cmsfx (demo) so only the platform was the problem for me.
