I guess the world is watching... waiting to short EU. Showed some weakness (red arrow) but found buyers just underneath at the WL. Price is still trying to go up, but the sellers want to sell. So let's see how and when this will all play out 
. In the meantime, you may need to trade shorter TFs if you normally trade longer swings...or even scalp.

Well EU seems to be showing some more weakness (second red arrow). Still hasn't given up the ghost...in a range at the moment. Geithner to speak and US news to come. Things could certainly change and give a tell. As always, trade what the market is telling you .
Have to be out shortly. Trade cautiously.

Hi FX4 sorry to say this but your performance journal is going cold,trade it or remove it
yes you have have a run of losing trade but so what,we all have a bad run,get over the fear of another losing trade,your thread is eur/usd analysis trade that pair,i dont known of another trader who is has the balls to do what you are doing

Thanks for your honesty. Some parts made me laugh (remember I'm not a "he") but I understand the point. LOL.
Anyhow, I did make a comment about the journal in another setting and I will make the comment here as well. I will begin trading it again this week. I spent almost all of Monday and Tuesday hunting for video conferencing software and trying to get it to work well for the live session on Wednesday. (Will post the link once I have reviewed the video). Thursday and Friday were also hectic...had to be out on Friday. What I also did not mention until now is that I had injured my left ankle on Sunday.
Fear may be a small part since posting a journal like this is another level of emotional adjustment for sure, but more importantly I have not been able to block out quality trading time. For that reason I won't be scheduling another live session soon, and some of the projects I have been working on to provide resources to traders I will try to wrap up as fast as possible or they may have to take a bit longer to complete.
You are right...it does take guts to do it (you used a more colorful word
). My goal is to be as real as possible with this business. Traders need to see that losses happen to everyone. The issue is knowing what to do to get back on track. I am not worried about it because I have done it before. I've just had ALOT on my plate. One of my goals with this journal is to push myself through to another level. My trading method is set, now it's me that I'm forcing through a "glass ceiling" of discipline. But, I've gotta have the focus and the time blocked out to do it.Let's see how the journal progresses this week.

i took a few pips out of this on friday,could be a text book move,on the other hand maybe not
But atleast i know what to look for and where to place my stop,if its a real reversial the second high should hold

FX4 as you see,from Wave Traders post,you have alot of support for what you are trying to do,i would say [go get them tiger] but this is trading not a football match,but i think you get my point

I thank you both for your support. I just think it is so important for the beginning trader especially to have hope and to know it can be done.
First they need a solid trading methodology. That's what the Demo Account is for...to test their methodology and learn the mechanics of trading. After that it is about following their rules every time. Trading in the Live Market builds Emotional Capital. For me, the challenge is getting in bed by a certain time so I can be up and rested enough to make this work. Then, once I am up, keep my trading time clear of distractions. That can be a fight (and has been) but it is a must.
As you said some time ago Pike, the hardest part is waiting for the set-up and entry to be in place. It's like the people who work in the quality control department of a manufacturer. They sit at this conveyor belt and just look for defects and pull them. How much patience and alertness of mind they have to have. Instead of pulling defects, we're to trade the set-up and entry when they show up. That waiting is hard because it is soooo boring, but necessary. Then you have to be careful that your patience doesn't become paralysis. And this must be done day in and day out. Ugh! But, oh...the rewards when it is done
...Chi Ching!!!Hopefully next weekend I can share some of the things I had to adjust to get back in the flow (the zone). Very simple things but they seem to make a difference...at least in my mental outlook. Let's see if the flow starts flow-ing...LOL.

I'm looking to make the transition to daily candles.
I know what it feels like when I am in the flow. Really hate this "two-left-feet" trading.

P.S. I think it takes another level of emotional fortitude to roll with the Daily, but it is well worth it. Some may even experience withdrawals from not having the emotional high from jumping in and out of trades...and that can be an "addiction" of sorts for some: experiencing the emotional high (adrenaline rush) associated with "clicking".
