personally i find that losing is the fastest and most affective way to learn .. but i agree that watching some posts on FF and than googling to understand what they are on about helps a lot to learn.

target + slip with a candle would be the short entry. not for longs. 42 and 46 were Friday's important intraday #s dpp is at 2944 good ole 2969 is there too

Painfull, took me 4 freaking years to be consistent at this game reading everything about the stock,futures & forex markets 24/7 while loosing 10k.I have the most wonderful wife for it.
Loosing my regular job in the 6digits b/c of it. but damn its so worth it being your own boss when you make it.http://cdn.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

Germany, France Pushing Portugal To Accept EU/IMF Aid: Press
BERLIN (MNI) – Germany and France are pushing Portugal to seek
financial aid from the EU and IMF in order to prevent Spain and Belgium
from becoming the next casualties of the EU sovereign debt crisis,
German weekly Der Spiegel reported over the weekend .
After Portugal’s borrowing costs increased sharply last week,
German and French government experts fear that the southern European
country soon won’t be able to raise money on capital markets anymore,
the magazine wrote.
According to Der Spiegel, Germany and France also want Eurozone
member states to pledge that they are ready to do whatever it takes to
defend the single currency zone, including expanding the existing E750
billion rescue fund.

If it even makes it past Friday's lows. But with you there on your first 2 entry points.

I am watching for Aussie's unemployment data and reaction to China this week. Close my silver short, but with the way it is going, could have another bad week for commodities, Especially if the surface of China starts to scratch.

Entered on close of short Randy candle following gap close and presumed continuation of downtrend. Lets see how it goes.

You predicted the direction of a nonexistant gap? You do realize market information is available at all times as well, so even if this mythical gap existed, we already know where price is currently relative to the previous weeks close.

Fridays close may be a good place to start since its also the low. i sold the candles.

Please clarify what you mean by gap ... I am just curious as to everyone's exact stance compared to a generic statement of 'gap' 'no such thing as gap'.

{market information is available} ... but is it trade-able at any time to anyone?

Hey guys, just wanted to show you my chart. It's a short-term scenartio, for 515 min TFs.
I've recognised that since the latter downtrend wave started, 3rd wave is still not completed. I've attached the chart with Elliott wave count.
To my mind, it's good to put SELL @ EURUSD when it reaches 1.293-1.296 area with TF below 1.288 and then 1.283 and SL above 1.3015. When wave 3 is completed, we could expect another bearisch impulse 5 after correction phase, right?
What do you think of this scenario? I would appreciate to hear from you.
