As a newbie I tried to see it through the perspective of Divergence, which has worked quite well for me in the past 3 weeks.

I will follow any direction, but my bias for the week is bearish.

I am always reading and learning from your posts or others here, and very grateful for that.

Have a good weekend

Regards

Good morning,
I see bullish divergence forming on H4, not complete yet imo.
We still have down move but week trend could reverse to bullish. If there still traders on Christmas week of course.

As my post last week I will follow any direction.
But my bias for next week is a reversal week, from bearish to bullish.
I could be wrong.

Have a good week end all.

There are many reasons why it fell.

1. Cable until we get the higher high... we are in a long term downtrend

2. The Dollar index hit a support and gained strength relative to the Pound

3. Ireland's bonds were downgraded today.

4. People are concerned about the overall debt situation in Europe.

5. GB consumer confidence way under expected... shows recession.

6. Look at the technicals on the charts.
a. Bearish engulfing monthly candle
b. Flag pattern on hourly chart
c. crossed below monthly and quarterly open prices
d. bounced off the...

Well Nene...you have done it again.

Taken completely worthless data and thrown crap onto the chart and are ignoring your own trendline and long term price channel.

Why even bother?

Geez man, I retract everything I said above. Keep this shit up, the quicker you trade yourself completely out of market, the better...might well take the band-aid approach and keep loading the longs...

Missing the obvious this hard, you have to wonder how many times he pissed his pants before realizing the zipper needed to be pulled down.

Well, insomnia and the wish to see how the week ended on the charts prior to skiing holiday next week has found me back in the forum.

Attached two charts that show how PA appears to be contained within a large-ranging wedge - first chart - and that PA has broken through an, admittedly, weak TL highlighted inside this wedge - second chart - and then returned to kiss its belly.

I'm not using this as confirmation - alone - of further down moves, but I think in the immediate term, and if one also considers Guppy profiles, longer-term candle patterns, and various construct for fib fans, standard plots and extensions, shorts are favoured.

Does anyone keep track of COT in here? And if so, could they post?

If you are going to play it that way... put tight stops on it IMHO. I see downward channels and bear flags on this.

The taxman's taken all my dough

and left me in my stately home
lazing on a sunny afternoon.
And I can't sail my yacht

he's taken ev'rything I've got;
all I've got's this sunny afternoon.

Save me
save me
save me from this squeeze

I've got a big fat momma tyin' to break me.
And I love to live so pleasantly

live this life of luxury:
lazing on a sunny afternoon

in Summertime
in summertime

in summertime.

My girlfriend's gone off with my car

and gone back to her ma and pa

telling tales of drunkenness and cruelty.
Now I'm sitting here

sipping at my icecold beer

lazing on a sunny afternoon.

Help me
help me
help me sail away

you give me two good reasons why I ought to stay.
'Cos I love to live so pleasantly

live this life of luxury:
lazing on a sunny afternoon

in Summertime
in summertime

in summertime.

hello traders,

i see initial upside for the pair on Monday before price stalls and continues its slide. Here is my 4hr Chart.
On the chart are MA's for 10,20,40 & 200b SMA, these serves as guides for me.
I expect the price to show 4hr reversal patterns at/close to these MA's. Once a reversal pattern is in place then shorts rule.

i intend to start my own journal in Jan 2010, god willing, where i shall document all my trades and the growth of my trading account.

There's a crack up in the ceiling,
And the kitchen sink is leaking.
Out of work and got no money,
A Sunday joint of bread and honey.

What are we living for?
Two-roomed apartment on the second floor.
No money coming in,
The rent collector's knocking, trying to get in.

We are strictly second class,
We don't understand,
(Dead end!)
Why we should be on dead end street.
(Dead end!)
People are living on dead end street.
(Dead end!)
Gonna die on dead end street.

Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)

On a cold and frosty morning,
Wipe my eyes and stop me yawning.
And my feet are nearly frozen,
Boil the tea and put some toast on.

What are we living for?
Two-roomed apartment on the second floor.
No chance to emigrate,
I'm deep in debt and now it's much too late.

We both want to work so hard,
We can't get the chance,
(Dead end!)
People live on dead end street.
(Dead end!)
People are dying on dead end street.
(Dead end!)
Gonna die on dead end street.

Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)

(Dead end!)
People live on dead end street.
(Dead end!)
People are dying on dead end street.
(Dead end!)
Gonna die on dead end street.

Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)
Head to my feet (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)
How's it feel? (yeah)
How's it feel? (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)
Dead end street (yeah)

Another suburban family morning
Grandmother screaming at the wall
We have to shout above the din of our Rice Crispies
We can't hear anything at all
Mother chants her litany of boredom and frustration
But we know all her suicides are fake
Daddy only stares into the distance
There's only so.much heartache he can take
Many miles away
Something crawls from the slime
At the bottom of a dark Scottish lake

Another industrial ugly morning
The factory belches filth into the sky
He walks unhindered through the picket lines today
He doesn't think to wonder why
The secretaries pout and preen like
cheap tarts in a red light street
But all he ever thinks to do is watch
And every single meeting with his so-called superior
Is a humiliating kick in the crotch
Many miles away
Something crawls to the surface
Of a dark Scottish loch

Another working day has ended
Only the rush hour hell to face
Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes
Contestants in a suicidal race
Daddy grips the wheel and stares alone into the distance
He knows that something somewhere has to break
He sees the family home now looming in his headlights
The pain upstairs that makes his eyeballs ache
Many miles away
There's a shadow on the door
Of a cottage on the shore
Of a dark Scottish lake
Many miles away, many miles away
