Thanks,

Im trying to be patient on the entries now waiting for a pattern to appear.

Working fine for these days only yesterday got a little bump when i got disconnected went from ~+19 to -12 when connected.. Then done some reentering.. Tuesday was good to me took 50 off could get some more but didnt trade any more.

But must work on my trade management more.. Have to figure that one out... Nothing comes with practice..

I know my lacks and will try to fix them.

Seems like you're on the right track so far, as long as risk management is good and you're following your (working, profitable) plan.

Please define this market maker. It is my understanding that stops are chased in the slower hours of the market (Sydney/Asian sessions) as these market makers have more power to push the prices then, where as it would be riskier to do so in more liquid and higher volatility sessions.

I'm not trying to put you down or anything like that, just a healthy 'mini-debate' here

well my question is how many traders trade the asian session. that thing ranges between 15 to 30 pips with wide spread traders will actaually wait for some movements before pulling triggers which is frankfurt and early london...in my opinion. i might be wrong

Yap

I really don't understand those buying eu.

Even if it's just a "scalp" shouldn't it be in the direction with the higher probability of profit and even trailing?

i'm confused by your response, please clarify. I actually never knew a lot about stop chasing (just that it happens..didn't know much more) until I read what Ed Ponsi had to say in his book "Forex Patterns and Probabilities". It's a good read and I absolutely recommend it. He gives some good strategies to trade too (mainly on the dailies and trend systems though). He stated that it is in the slower sessions the market makers (the larger funds, banks etc) go after stops as it is easier to manipulate prices than trying to do so in the busier sessions.

Try the book if you haven't, you won't regret it
